Hello friends!
It's been a long time since I last posted here, the longest in a while. Life got busy, then tough, then busy and tough all at the same. You know how it is 🙈. It got to the point where everything became too much and something had to give, which sadly was my presence here.
I'm back now though and promise (right Bumblebee Home Treasures 😉) to stick around this time, I've really missed you guys! I've been working on lots of exciting projects and have so much to sh...are with you, albeit all in good time. I first just have to spend a little time working on perfecting that work/life balance, as family time became somewhat neglected a few weeks back. Please do stick with me though. I've got some brand new designs and products on the way very soon and I know you're just going to love them!
I hope you've had a great weekend. Mine was injected with a large dose of quality family time, as everyone came together to celebrate my Dad's 70th and my beautiful niece's first birthday. There was laughter, sunshine and of course plenty of cake. What more could you ask for, right? 💚

Taking you back to the weekend when I teased about a couple of special things coming up and here is the first for you. A brand new product is on the way to Lisa Green Designs and I really hope you love it as much as I do! Here is my very first lampshade, designed and made by myself with a helping hand from Mr Green. This one features my much loved Petal Punch pattern. It is bright and summery, perfect for all you colour lovers out there. If you are passionate about handmade home decor, this will make a beautiful addition to just about any room in the house. There will be lots more designs on the way soon, but before that I would LOVE to know what you think to these. Does this carry you to lampshade heaven? 💚

Hello, is there anyone still out there? I'm sorry I've been away for so long. With all the time I've been dedicating to my design portfolio lately alongside an on/off battle with the boys' sleeping, I've been awful at updating my page and checking in with you all. How has your weekend been? I've been out all day with my art prints at the Artisan Network UK arts market. This little fella proved to be very popular, he had all the children especially going quackers over him 🙈😉. I'll let you in on a little secret. I have a limited number of this print left now and once they're gone, they're gone. I won't be restocking them, so don't wait until it's too late. I don't want to speak to soon, but it feels as though summer has landed. The boys have both been in shorts today (it needs to be a few degrees warmer before I entertain the thought of getting my legs out 😂) and I have been daydreaming of our holidays in just a few weeks time.

Do you know those moments that come along and really make you feel happy, no matter how small they may seem? There have been lots of those this weekend. T's excitement at seeing a deer (not a reindeer) during our hill walk yesterday. The way little RT's eyes lit up earlier on being allowed one more biscuit than usual, as we enjoyed a lovely afternoon with friends. And now, this photo. The squirrel pattern I designed a few months back, made into this adorable little skirt and ...worn so beautifully by my gorgeous niece here. The skirt was made by the very talented Jamie Lemon Designs, isn't it simply fab? Seeing my designs out there in the world, really does make me happy! I hope that your weekend has been filled with happiness through and through 😄.

Who has been lucky enough to see some sunshine today? It has barely stopped raining here. It hasn't mattered though. The boys and I have enjoyed a wonderful visit from our friends and have had a day filled with fun and laughter.
Here is a pattern I created recently. I don't work with florals often, but this one I really enjoyed. I'm thinking I can see this as a lovely set of dining room curtains. How about you?

Does anyone have any tips on how to slow down the rollercoaster that is life (or rather full time parenting 😂), when the ride literally has you hanging on for dear life? If so I am all ears, because I feel as though I went to bed Sunday night and woke up at this point right now!

I have been spending a lot of time lately building up my pattern portfolio. I'm still working on commissions and a number of personal projects around this and I would love your thoughts on personalised prints. Here is one I completed recently (the personalised part can't be revealed just yet). I'm thinking they would be really lovely as new baby gifts, I can see them sitting beautifully in nurseries and young children's bedrooms. What do you think?

I recently turned my little rabbit print into a repeat pattern and now have some of my very own fabric. This design has proven to be popular lately, particularly with Easter being just days away now. I have a couple of special projects lined up for this. For those of you who love to make things, however, this is now available on a wide range of fabrics in my online shop.
