Staff amazing, Gin selection amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable on what mixes goes with what Gin. Food amazing and the decor beautiful. The staff make you feel so welcome and highly recommend you make the effort to visit.

I went to Lisbon Bar during the evening of 31st August 2017. The staff was friendly, and made us feel welcomed. They have a good selection of bar foods, the vegetarian burger was very nice, and very reasonable price. They have a good selection of cocktails, and again reasonably priced. It had a friendly atmosphere, with a DJ blasting out great 80s hit & getting everyone moving like jagger. I would definitely recommend this bar for a fun evening.

I have been there about half a dozen times and have always felt at home....I may not be gay but I have so many friends there and feel accepted when I go there and have met so many lovely amazing people and love it there. I volunteer for Pride and feel the Lisbon is a very unique place and the decor is fantastic. I love the atmosphere and love the fact that I have never seen any trouble in there....BUT....I did see a very HOT stripper there last night and at my age I was fearing for my hot flushes as they were coming in waves! Love the place and will be doing the pop up shop when I can and drinking in the wonderful feeling of community and love of all those I have been fortunate enough to meet....and Robbie and Joseph are the stars in my eyes!

First time in Liverpool and at this bar really loved it the music was good an the bar staff was really nice spend 3hrs at this one bar the atmosphere was really good really enjoyd myself would recommend to anyone was brill night out loved every min of it deffo good experience for first time in Liverpool the people are really nice an easy to approach will deffo be comeing back x

Fantastic pub. Remember it from my youth too - MANY, many decades ago! Always really happy when I pass by and see that it’s still going strong after all of this time. Well done The Lisbon! A community. A place of acceptance for all - then and now.

Came here for a few G&T’s before Steps with some friends. Found the staff friendly, great atmosphere and drinks prices fair for city centre. Shall return when next in Liverpool �

Really friendly bar with great staff & chatty clientele. Top gin collection & staff who know what to recommend. Love the mix of people young, old, straight, gay, footballers, housewives & husbands.

Not been here for a while - least 3 years. Great to see the place having a bit of money spent to tidy it up such as around the bar and reupholstering of chairs etc and a great singer and his drummer were on Saturday evening (24.9.17). Made for a really good atmosphere! The Lisbon feels like it has been reborn! :)

I went Saturday evening with friends haven't been fir over 20 years and it is just as good as it ever was. Looks more refreshed than it used to but a great night.

Was there on pride evening about 8pm in 2017. Was packed of course. Haven't been here for a few years. It's the best of the gay bars (the rest are so God damn awful as they play music at a million decebels). Ok, the Lisbon plays music too loudly, but at least you can have a reasonable ish conversation in there. Not bad but not brilliant. Just ok.

Really think you need to get with the times and stop over charging people for the pleasure of coming into the Lisbon there are never any offers at all even tonight for example we were the only people in here and yet the bar man just laughed when I asked was anything on offer why are your prices so expensive?
