Is it the weekend yet?

Went to ‘The Greatest Showman’ event there was absolutely wonderful. It showed the film on screen with sing-a-long words also showed for those who needed extra encouragement. Pro singers dressed as the leading parts. Went as a group of 13 aged from 5 to 45 we were all up on the benches dancing. Brilliant!!!!

Went here before the darts, and it was great. Beer was £2.50 a pint. Got to see Bobby George in there and have a pic taken with him for free. Good sports on tv and a really really tasty burger. Spot on! �

We hosted an amazing charity bingo night in aid of Alder Hey in the Bierkeller room! Sam Wooley was extremely helpful when we were organising and planning before but also on the night! If you're having a big event we would highly recommend!!

Paul had the Liverpool Bierkeller for his retirement party in the Around the World Bar yesterday. Sam and all Bierkeller staff did a fabulous job keeping everyone fed and watered. A great big thank you to you all!

Highly recommend for any event.

Really top class bar. The bratwurst is fantastic. Pretty good location.

Not a German style bierkeller, but the table and bar service were good. The staff were polite and the drinks weren’t too expensive. We visited a couple of times over a long weekend, so would recommend to friends.

My wife and i and 3 kids went in sat down ordered food which was amazing had a beer wife had a beer kids wanted tea which in my opinion was nice for them after a nippy day found the staff friendly didnt bother us asked if we needed anything. Really nice time

Helpful staff serve you at your table, including bringing your food. The only critique I have was it stated a 9” hot dog. I feel the chef needs a ruler as it was only about 6”. They say size isn’t everything apparently, but it is when you’re Hank Marvin and you’ve paid for 3” that isn’t there! I didn’t raise it to the staff. But atmosphere good.

This is only a bierkeller in name. If your looking for a range of authentic German beers you won't find them here. That said it is in a great location the beers they do sell are reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is adequate.

If it wasn't for the good company we were in I'd rate it poor on the basis that the beer Stien were poor quality and I don't think there was any alcohol in the cocktails they provided , entertainment was fair , left sober after drinking plenty

Girl on the bar was rude, impatient, and seemed to have poor knowledge of drinks. Asked her what lagers they did and she said “er carlin Carlsberg and other’s just look” so while I proceeded to look, since she didn’t properly answer my question, she went “right well I’m just gonna serve someone else”. Was only one other person waiting. ��� bad demeanour.

Went in Sunday an orded some food the girl who served us was lovely but when the food arrived it was on a wooden plate which had a large crack down the middle , put me right off the food as god alone knows what germs where living in the tatty old plate.

Took about 15 minutes to get served on a quiet bar, lovely staff just not enough of them!

To be honest if you pay the extra and watch the show it is a pretty good time. But the rest of the venue is crap it almost has a casino feel to it, the beer is overpriced and can safely say for a venue that is supposed to pride itself on its beer its poor

After being told half the beers included on the offer were not available we ordered burgers & beers. Beers arrived & then we waited...... eventually burgers arrived with hot chips & very cold burgers. My son complained & they came to replace burgers which we were told would be 5 mins.... 20 mins later we left having not eaten!!!!

My husband went along with a few friends that had arrived from Gibraltar. After being there for a while they were approached by a spanish waitress (she said she was from cordoba) well this woman went up to my husband and his friends, she asked if they were spanish to which they replied they were not, that they were from Gibraltar. To their astonishment this woman went on to insult them by saying Gibraltar is spanish, they asked if she was joking with them to which she replied she wasn’t. She went on to insult us Gibraltarians in general and pushed their buttons until one of the men told her to piss off. Well she then proceeded to call the bouncers and they were all kicked out. I am appalled by such behaviour as we are British citizens and consider ourselves at home when in Britain. Someone should give that woman a good talking too. One thing is for sure, we will be posting this all over social media and will recommend that no Gibraltarian ever goes to this bar again.
