University Mental Health Day is happening tomorrow. We've got lots going on including an anxiety workshop at Hope Park (Unfortunately we've had to cancel the one at Creative due to staff absence), meditation sessions, info stalls from both university and external services, a talk from Jake Mills and everyone's favourite... a superdog from Merseyside Dog's Homeрҹҗ¶.

University Mental Health Day takes place on Thursday 5th March. There are a number of FREE events happening throughout the day including meditation sessions, anxiety workshops, and a talk by award-winning stand-up comedian and writer Jake Mills.
Jake, a Liverpool Hope alumni, is also the CEO of the charity рқҳҠрқҳ©рқҳўрқҳҙрқҳӘрқҳҜрқҳЁ рқҳөрқҳ©рқҳҰ рқҳҡрқҳөрқҳӘрқҳЁрқҳ®рқҳў, which aims to normalize discussions about mental health and to remove the fear of being judged.

We were devastated to hear of the tragic event that occurred over the weekend with the death of TV presenter Caroline Flack by suicide. We wanted to remind all students that if you or someone you know needs support for issues around emotional distress, mental health or suicidal thoughts, there is help available to you.
