Lma Matsumura Academy Description
Headed by Chris Matsumura (5th Dan) all our instructors are DBS checked and The LMA Matsumura Academy is a member of the Cobra Martial Arts Association (CMAA) headed by Andrew Morrell 8th Dan (who is also Chris's Instructor).
With dojos in Denton and Preston we teach a wide range of martial arts using both in-house instructors and respected guest instructors. We teach:
Cobra FMA
Available to ages from 5 to 65 years Cobra FMA is a Freestyle Martial Art combining Karate, Kickboxing and Ju-Jitsu to give you skills that will help you in a violent situation as well as helping to keep you fit.
Cobra Kickboxing
Cobra Kickboxing combines techniques taken from Freestyle and Muay Thai Kickboxing that are all done full contact on focus mitts, strike shields and bags. We've extended this to create a respected fight team and have become home to British and World Champions.
Cobra Tots
Cobra Tots are Children of ages of 3 and 4 years old. Young Children need motivation and set goals to keep their interest in any sporting activity. Cobra Tots focuses on improving younger children's basic motor and listening skills. These skills will help them enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future.
Cobra Kick- Jitsu
Kick-Jitsu is a combination of the throws, locks, groundwork from Ju-Jitsu and the kicks and strikes from Kickboxing. It's physically demanding but really good fun.
