Are you going through a bit of a rough time right now?
I had my first experience of holistic therapies about 6 years ago, i was going through a really tough time, i had a very stressful job with a VERY long commute, i was physically ill and suffering form an eating disorder, i was not a happy bunny.
I was snappy, emotional, angry, emotionally very up and down and generally all over the place.
... Deep down i knew i needed help but wasn't sure the Doctor was going to be able to help me, i needed something more, something on a deeper level.
For some reason i decided to go for a reiki treatment. No idea why, i wasn't really aware of what reiki could do for me, i had a reiki treatment years before but never thought anything more of it.
But i went anyway, i felt so much calmer, and after a few treatments i found i was beginning to shift some of the emotional baggage and was able to cope with everything a little better.
I continued having treatments and then later started having bi monthly no hands massage, i felt so much lighter and free after each session, like i had let go of so much 'stuff'
Today i am a totally different person, physical fit, emotionally happy and with very little emotional baggage! and my love for holistic therapies led me to train in various modalities and start my own business.
Do i think they have helped me to get physically and emotionally better - absolutely yes! I believe having great therapist (which i still do) and taking regular time out just be 'be' as well as the therapeutic benefits of the treatments have helped me massively

I have been seeing Pavlina for a monthly massage over about 8mths now and I can honestly say there has been a huge reduction in my overall pain. I was diagnosed with M.E following a virus 3 years ago and also suffer fibromyalgia type symptoms. Muscle pain and inflammation throughout the body which flares up after physical or mental exertion. At times it feels as tho the whole body is poisoned. When I first began coming for a massage it was only because my employer paid for it, I thought it would be a relaxing treat. I didn’t realise how much it would help ease my conditions. It is of course a relaxing treat too but over time it has eased my pain levels by about 80% I would say. On a daily basis I was about 8-9/10 for muscle pain and spasms. It’s prob now a 2-3! Pav works on whichever bits are troubling me and always takes into account how sore I am. She always asks. And never takes for granted how I am feeling. She works with me not just on me if that makes sense! She also recommended I take Epsom salt baths a few times a week which I do and that has also helped enormously. Not an immediate effect but again has definitely had a cumulative effect. Cannot recommend Pav highly enough. She’s very very knowledgeable.

Booked in for a hot stone massage with Pav she even used some sports massage techniques as well to help with my sore back, the combination of this & the warmth from the stones was lovely. She explained what she was doing, the reasons for it & gave me some suggestions on what I could do at home to help ease the pain. After just the 1 session, my back feels so much easier. Would definitely recommend Pav & Louisa Brown Holistic Therapies.

I had a no hands massage followed by a Neals Yard facial and some reiki and absolutely loved it all! I told Louise that i wanted to leave feeling relaxed and i left feeling like i was floating on a cloud! My skin felt so soft and lovely too. I will definitely be back for more treatments!

Cannot recommend highly enough. Not only are the treatments very relaxing and effective, Louise is also really welcoming and friendly and ensures all of her clients have an enjoyable experience. Very reasonably priced too
