What lovely people!

It's so nice to have what feels like a traditional Italian family restaurant, in the middle of Wendover. The pizzas were great, the main courses were generous and when little G asked for a bowl of fried squid, on its own, no salad, it was no problem.

We will be back for more as all of us loved the atmosphere.

We had a really lovely evening. The setting was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

You must try the new Gins they are amazing.

Will definitely be going back.

We enjoy good value and good Italian cooking at this local restaurant where being able to have a pint of Rebellion beer is a bonus

Myself and my friend ate here last night, the staff were so polite. My main meal of pork and new potatoes was gorgeous but way too small...more like a child's portion!I had to order garlic bread to fill up! Saying that we had a lovely time.

Lucca is our local Italian restaurant that we have loved since it opened as The Point a while ago. Michaela and her team are fabulous, the service is impeccable. Friendly and on top of things. Michaela's Italian wine suggestions are always fantastic. We love you guys. If we had one criticism it would be that since the name changed to Lucca the food has been less Italian!! Bring back Penne Pollo & Lombatello steaks! We want you to stay as an Italian and not turn in to pub dining, four pubs locally but no Italian restaurant. Xxx

In the restaurant last night for our first visit and we were very pleased and had a fantastic time food was great Customer service was amazing the restaurant had a great vibe too throughly enjoyed the evening the cocktails were fabulous and a great price will definitely return

Great food and atmosphere. This Italian restaurat provides a wide choice of dishes to suit most diners and is accompanied by good wine. The amount of food is perfect and we went home fully satisfied and would defintely go back. Wendover is a lovely village with a couple of pubs for before or after drinks but we were happ to stay and drink after our meal in the lively bar.

Fantastic squid, very nice meatballs, excellent tiramisu. £18 for 3 course meal including a glass of wine. Very good value. Will come again

A warm welcome, great service and excellent food at reasonable prices.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal and busy atmosphere. Service was a little haphazard...ordered some water with our wine and it didn’t arrive until a repeated request. Just a niggle.

The cocktails were brilliant with an excellent choice. Main meals were generous in size and delicious, plus I liked the way customers on the next table had their ‘take home’ surplus dealt with.

The arancini starter was delicious but I agree with previous comments. Swerve the squid...it was soggy and niggardly in quantity. 5 far from Olympic Rings! A mean dish to be avoided.

Early birds and so missed the Xmas parties. Lovely welcome, Food was excellent. Seafood pasta & Pizza. Very scrummy dessert "Black Fig" that was Ginger gelato/ dark chocolate gelato + figs. Absolutely going back for another try out. Felt very relaxed atmosphere.

My meal was tasty but £17 for a seafood (mussels, clams, prawns) spaghetti dish is grossly over priced, in my opinion. The restaurant service was very good but was disappointed by the bar service. When we asked if the Prosecco was dry, the answer was "I don't know, I have never tasted it" Also we were charged £19 for a bottle of Prosecco when it was listed as £16 on the bar wine list. When we questioned this we were told that it was a misprint and it was correctly priced on the restaurant list. We won't be returning.

Had heard good things about Lucca - unfortunately we won't be coming back, decent food but very small portions and poor customer service, maybe it's because we got the 'early bird' deal... 25% off and 25% of the portion by the looks of it!
