Can’t take much credit for this (although I did read him the instructions 😂) cheese and onion bread. Must admit it tastes absolutely amazing, so so soft and fluffy, well done Scotty ♥️ not the best pic either 🙈

Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe during this awful situation we are all in.
Me and the kids have done a bit of baking over the last couple of weeks which has been so much fun.
I would love to see everyone’s baking creations and maybe add the recipe for others to try out too.
... I’ll start, we made sticky toffee banana cake yesterday (left over bananas 🙈).
For the sponge- 150g baking butter 150g brown sugar 3 eggs 1 tablespoon lemon juice 150gself raising flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 3 mashed up bananas 1 tea soon vanilla essence
Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add eggs, lemon juice, bananas and vanilla essence and mix together. Gently fold in the sifted flour and baking powder untill all mixed together.
For the sticky bit- 1 mashed banana 1 tablespoon syrup 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 table spoon of butter (We didn’t weigh anything so this is a rough guide)
Lightly grease a 7 inch baking tin (shape of your choice), mix the the sticky ingredients together in a bowl then add to the baking tin and spread covering the base.
Add the sponge mixture and bake for 30-35 mins (stick a knife in the middle and if it comes out clean it’s ready).
Very very carefully realease cake onto a cooling rack and leave to completely cool down before eating as the syrup can be extremely hot.
I hate bananas but this was so tasty.
This was a made up recipe but please feel free to play around with flavours etc.

It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that from 5pm today, I will be closed until further notice.
Although I am classed as “take away” I work from my home, where my family live and I need to protect them and you as much as I possibly can.
It would mean unnecessary visits to shops for supplies and unnecessary contact with other people.
... From Monday I will be focusing on my babies to try and give them some sort of education whilst at home so I will be turning into teacher (help me now haha)
I will message everyone with orders over the next couple of months to let them know personally.
Thank you to absolutely everyone for your orders, each and every one has meant the world to me.
I cannot apologise enough but I hope you understand and accept my decision. If we all work together making changes we can come out the other end, stay safe everyone 💖💖💖

Sorry another post regarding Mother’s Day cupcakes.
I know this is an extremely hard time for everyone so I’m sure you can understand this, if you no longer need your cupcakes don’t worry but please let me know as soon as possible. I am working very long hours to make sure they are ready for you. My stock is extremely low so I don’t want to waste ingredients as much as possible.
If you ordered for Friday pick they are all ready and already made. I will be making Saturdays l...ater today and I’m the morning as so many of them.
I absolutely hate to do this as it goes against my nature but any cupcakes boxes that have already been made but cancelled at the last minute will still have to be paid for, I’m so sorry 😓

Hi everyone, if anyone needs to bring their orders forward so you can celebrate early then please just let me know. For cupcakes I only need a few hours notice (time depending) and cakes at least 24 hours.
I’ve had quite a lot of orders cancel over the last few days due to venues closing etc so this is something someone has asked so I thought I would offer it to anyone else.

Hi everyone, I’m sure by now you are all fully aware of the Coronavirus.
I will be taking a few extra safety precautions until further notice.
As well as the following measures I would like to also mention that I have struggled finding stock of some items this week, I can only do my best to supply everything needed and what has been requested.
... ⚫️ please where possible could my lovely customers pay via BACS/PAYPAL and not cash, details wIll be sent to you.
⚫️ I will now be handing over all cakes and cupcakes at my front door, please don’t take this personally, I just need to protect my family as much as possible.
⚫️if you or someone living in your household has got symptoms of the virus, please please send someone else to pick up your order.
⚫️ If you need to cancel/postpone any order then just let me know (as soon as possible as I start working on cakes with models 3 days in advance). If you have to change the date or any cake, please let me know the new date as soon as possible as my diary is getting quite full.
⚫️ if myself or any member of my family show ANY symptoms of the virus I will obviously have to cancel any orders in the coming weeks. I will however try and find you another baker from one of my lovely baker friends.
I will update this information if anything changes with the World Health Organisation.
