Handicap Finals Day is fast approaching. Play starts at 1 pm. Come and support the finalists, enjoy a glass of something and support your club. Help with umpiring and line judging will be gratefully received. ūüéĺūüć∑ūüćĺūüėĀūüćļūüŹÜ

Open finals day on Sunday starting at one pm. Hoping for fine weather. Come and support the players and possibly have a tipple.
The draw for the senior handicap tournament is now up in the small pavilion. Losing ladies in the first round will go back into the draw, as there were more men than ladies in the mixed. Please tell the captains when you have played your first round so handicaps can be sorted and play promptly. Enjoy!
On Bank Holiday Monday, the ladies first team are playing the second team at 10.30 a.m. Come along to support, see some great tennis and feel free to bring some food and take part in the Jacobs Join afterwards. The Bar opens at eleven.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Ladies tennis tournament yesterday, including the donations from the gents who ate the left over sandwiches. We raised£460 for Parkinson’s UK.
Thank you everyone who supported the Opening Day Lunch... fantastic food contributions, to a wonderful buffet. A fabulous albeit a little strange tournament but a great time had by all who played. Welcome to new members and great to see so many ‚Äėold‚Äô friends too.
Opening day lunch on Sunday... last minuters welcome as long as they bring £7 and a dish of food... preferably contact Pam French but not essential. Look forward to seeing you all. Let s hope it s dry.... the weather, not the Bar!!!

Ladies and gents, team practices start this week. Monday at 6.30pm will be a men’s night, and Simon would particularly like to invite anyone who has never played for the teams before. Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be ladies practices... 6-8pm. Thursday will be the other men’s practice night 6.30- 8.30. In addition to those dates, Ribble League practices will be Wednesdays from 6 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Pam and Simon.
