Saturday was such a beautiful day! 😍 I was back at The Castlefield Rooms (one of my fave city centre venues!) for Philippa & Sammi's wedding. 🎉

Philippa & Sammi live in Sweden but have a special place in their hearts for Manchester as they lived in Castlefield a few years ago. ❤️🐝
... They chose to get ready together with their bridesmaids in the beautiful Lockhouse and then had a first look in the gardens. 🍃 For those who don't know, a first look is when you see your partner in their wedding attire before the ceremony and spend a few special moments together before walking down the aisle. It's a really beautiful moment to photograph! 💕
Frog did an incredible job with the flowers. 😍 The ceremony & reception looked amazing with these greenery centrepieces and the girl's flowers were beautiful!
After the ceremony me, Sammi & Philippa took a walk around Castlefield which is one of my favourite places to photograph in Manchester. There are so many cool industrial backdrops - I'll never get tired of photographing here!

I was back at Holdsworth House Hotel & Restaurant last Sunday for The Otty wedding! 🎉
It was my third time at this venue and I love how quaint the grounds & gardens are. 💕
I had a great time with Emma, Michael and their families who were so welcoming. It didn't take much to prompt plenty of laughter from these two as you can see! Such a cute couple who are clearly head over heels for each other. 😊

... Holly & Greg added their own touches to the barn with plenty of colourful DIY-decor, including this amazing light installation and neon sign that Greg made himself! ✨

If you're a Disney fan then you're going to love Elinor & Owain's wedding! 😍🎉

Their ceremony took place at Lotherton Hall which is such a beautiful place! We got plenty of photos inside the beautiful hall which is so atmospheric. 😁✨
... Afterwards, we all headed to Thorner Victory Hall via vintage bus. Ellie & Owain did an amazing job of transforming the Hall with all kinds of magical decor! I can only imagine how long those pumpkins took to paint.

I've got to know Jaxx & Jon pretty well since we met at a wedding fair last year and clicked instantly! I also got to meet the doggos Rick Sanchez & Lucy at their engagement session earlier in the year which was a lovely afternoon. 💕 (Photo from that below!)
Jaxx is emo at heart (same 🙋) and I knew they'd have a few alternative touches on the big day. 😊 When I walked into bridal prep and Killswitch Engage was playing I knew this wasn't your ordinary bridal party. 😂💁 Jaxx's dress was handmade by Jonnie's Mum from her Grandma & Mother's wedding dresses. ❤️
Amazing cake by Champagne Cakes, flowers handmade by Jaxx's Mam and shout out to Lottie who did an amazing job on the girl's hair.

I had an amazing time in the Lake District for Rachelle & Kevin's wedding! 🎉

They had their chilled out day at Knipe Hall near Penrith which is a fantastic little barn venue with the most stunning views. 😍 ... Rachelle & Kevin made most of their decor and their reception look amazing! 🙌 I loved their rose gold & green theme and I can only imagine how many hours they must have spent rummaging in charity shops collecting all these amazing bits and pieces!
The wonderful Bluebells & Daisies made Rachelle's bouquet & I am obsessed with her custom leather jacket. 😎
Me, Rach & Kevin took an evening stroll later on through the countryside and found this old suspension bridge, plus we managed to catch some golden hour magic. ✨
Rachelle's dress is from Kates Bridal Room, hair by Peaches and Cream, makeup by Jen Horton, custom cake topper (featuring Ralph!) Wildwood Frames and Pegs, band Stereo Soldiers. Amazing afternoon tea was by Rachelle's mum - what a star! And in the evening Pie Eyed & Milk Maids rocked up with their food vans for an evening of pie & ice cream.

Happy September everyone! I can't believe we're heading into Autumn already. 🍂 Still, wedding season is still very busy and I have lots of exciting new previews to share with you all. 😊

Jessica & Ben had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Woodlands Hotel last week. I love outdoor ceremonies, they give such a relaxed feel to the day and I'm so glad the weather held up for Jessica & Ben!
... Alina Florist filled the marquee with all kinds of beautiful greenery. 😍🍃 And guests were given these adorable succulents as favours (you can never have too many succulents! 😁🌵)
It feels like such a long time ago since Jessica & Ben got in touch with me and it's been lovely to get to know them both. From me and Jessica being old colleagues (for a brief amount of time!), to numerous meetings, emails and their engagement session together. Time really does fly and I can't believe how quickly their wedding came around! ❤️

I absolutely loved photographing Jessica & Luke's wedding last weekend. 😍❤️🎉

These two are honestly the sweetest pair and it’s been a pleasure getting to know them both during their wedding journey! ☺️
... Jess & Luke booked an engagement session with me earlier in the year on the moors near Blackstone Edge. Their wedding venue Pennine Manor is also situated on the moors so it was great to be able to use a similar stunning backdrop for their wedding photos! 😍
Jess’ Mum's 1972 vintage land drover made several appearances during the photos which was a lovely tribute to her. As you can see, the bridesmaids got stuck in too! 😄
I know Jess (and Luke, but let’s be honest mainly Jess 😂) put so much work and planning into making their reception look amazing and she did a fantastic job with the help of Pink Ginger flowers and the staff at Pennine Manor. 🎉💖

I had so much fun with Ellie & Matt at their Left Bank Leeds wedding last week! ... It was such a colourful day filled with a flamingos, cacti, paper cranes, amazing blooms by Dulcie Butterfly a doughnut wall, glitter station and Mexican food by El Kantina ✨🌵 What more can you ask for? 😍
Plus, in the evening Bare Brass Band rocked up with the most amazing 90s set list. I think my favourite moment has to be when Ellie rapped the whole of Gangsta's Paradise to Matt as a surprise! 😂
Such a fun day with a fun bunch of folks. 🤘

I had a great time photographing Eve & Carl's wedding last Saturday at The Whitworth in Manchester. It was so cool to see the gallery being used as a wedding venue and I loved being able to use the gallery spaces for photos! 😍 Eve & Carl told me that they chose the Whitworth as their wedding venue because: "We are both creatives with a love for art. To think hundreds of beautiful pieces of art share the day with us is incredible." 💕
... I spent the morning with Eve & the girls at The Principal Manchester which is such a beautiful place! The lovely Ora makeup was there helping the girls get ready alongside CT Hair & Extensions
Eve & Carl had their ceremony inside one of the art gallery spaces at The Whitworth followed by a relaxed drinks reception in the gardens (plus a LOT of confetti! 😁)

Emily & Marek got married at one of my favourite Manchester city centre venues Great John Street Hotel ❤️🐝... I absolutely love this venue because it's got such a cool city vibe to it and it's so close to so many quirky spots in town such as Museum of Science and Industry & Castlefield. 😊 The rooftop terrace is beautiful as well!
In true Manchester fashion, of course it had to rain but it didn't stop us from getting a few photos in the city centre! ☔️ How amazing is Emily's 1920s inspired wedding dress? 😍
Emily's cousin did all the bridesmaid's makeup & friend Michelle helped with all the gorgeous flowers. Hair was also done by Emily's friend Catherine. 😊

First up is Julia & Chris' wedding last week at The Castlefield Rooms. Finally got to see inside that beautiful Lockhouse 😍(I've always wondered about it any time I'm in Castlefield!) and to work with the incredible Frog who made Julia's incredible bouquet. 😁... Bridesmaid's makeup by Amy Makeup Artist, Julia did her own as she used to work at Charlotte Tilbury (and had a very enviable makeup collection! 👀)
Chris' Dad made this backdrop for their wedding day out of copper piping which looked amazing. 😊 It was a scorcher of a day but everyone had an amazing time. Julia, you looked amazing and your dress was incredible. 😍

... I had an amazing time at Rebecca & Matt's relaxed country pub wedding at The Plough Inn, Eaton last month. Not just your typical pub, The Plough has a quirky barn space for weddings complete with wooden beams. 😍 Add a few flowers from The Mustard Seed Florist and you've got yourself a beautiful venue!
It was a fun day full of Jenga, drinking & dancing plus some emotional times. During the ceremony Rebecca's sister gave a beautiful reading from The Amber Spyglass and there wasn't a dry eye in the room! (Including myself 🙈)
