to experience peace and relaxation and a connection with nature and the earth, this is where you go, I adore this place. Are the grounds open to the general public now or is the festival still on? xx

This is a very special place, run by wonderful people. We attended a 15, minute meditation which was perfect. The place and people make you feel calm and relaxed and very welcome. We have been here several times and will no doubt continue coming. The cafe is exceptional too, fab food and very friendly service. Definitely recommend coming here to escape the city pressures.

The most peaceful place to spend some time. Recharge your batteries and clear your mind. Beautiful vegetarian cafe and delicious cakes. The temple is breathtaking you can hardly believe you are in the middle of the Lake District and not in Tibet.

The Manjushri is a tranquil haven, a place where you can replenish body and soul. Whether it is solitude or good company you are looking for this is the place to be. It is such a pleasant environment carefully created by people dedicated to peace, making it a safe and welcoming place to all.

The accommodation is to a high standard yet very affordable making it accessible. We stayed in one of the cottages. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay , though a hook in the bathroom would have been welcomed to hang my clothes and towel while showering !

Thank you for yet another wonderful stay.

Stayed for meditation weekend. Lovely place, peaceful, beautiful space. Old priory and temple so interesting. Woodland area, walks to beach. Monks and nuns very helpful and friendly. Double room basic but very good value. Nice cafe which allows dogs.

So peaceful even just to talk round the gardens

Quite simply a special, peaceful place to reflect, relax and learn more about your mind. Many kind people welcome you with warm smiles and open hearts. Great for a day visit, volunteering or a retreat. Come and see for yourself! I have been many times and always some back :-)

Mum and I had the most peaceful experience, when we came to your temple on Thursday. I would love to be able to stay over one evening and experience one of your retreats. Will definitely be returning and will become a regular here. Enjoyed the walks, the coffee and cake and the shop has some lovely gifts, but loved the meditation especially.

A peaceful, tranquil family day out . We had a lovely walk through the woods and throughly enjoyed the delicious food in the cafe . I would recommend the meditation in the temple that anybody can try whether you've tried meditation before or if you've never experienced this . A very welcoming atmosphere and we felt able to ask as many questions as we wanted .
