2 opportunities available... Full time live in groom or a head live in groom is required to join our professional livery and racing yard.
Our yard is based 5 miles from Chipping Norton and offers excellent working facilities in the centre of a large private country estate. Accommodation is shared and on sight above the yard, it looks out onto the main stables. Living bills are included (electric, water, heating and wifi).
We need someone who is reliable to follow instructions... and work well as a team to help look after our busy yard of 30 horses.
Will need to be a capable rider to exercise large fit horses. Ability to ride racehorses and school horses on the flat and jumping would be a bonus.
You will need to have a good knowledge of yard and stable management and be able to do basic equine first aid.
You will be required to work a 5 and a half day week with days off alternating each week.
We would like someone fun and friendly and able to communicate well with the rest of the team and our owners and as well as being enthusiastic, organised and efficient.
Our horses include hunters, eventers, race horses, team chasers, ponies, mares, young stock and breakers.
You may also be asked to assist at events such as team chasing, eventing, racing and hunting. A trailer or HGV licence would also be a bonus.
Position is available to start immediately.
