MBM (Music Business Management) started life way back in early 1993. Phil Barrett had been a successful international musician and record-producer, his wife Anne owned a couple of happening wine bars and restaurants.

Anne & Phil's joint understanding of 'the business' makes the company what it is today. . . a successful, busy artiste management company.

In 2010 the MBM Academy was formed together with Janine and Peter, two highly regarded, former world-champion dancers / choreographers.

Anne Barrett has recently stepped down as Chairman of the Agents' Association of Great Britain (Northwest Branch) following a successful two-year tenure.

Philip Barrett was installed as secretary in March 2012.
