Well that’s me finally finished for the week. I would like to say a massive thank you to all my lovely customers, it’s been a tough week with illness, & the downside to self employment is there is no sick leave. Everyone has been so lovely and I even had some customers telling me to leave their cake orders so I could take some time off.

What can I say, Mel has outdone herself again. It was my daughters 2nd birthday and I couldn’t decide Frozen or Moana, her two fave things so Mel incorporated the 2. It was amazing. I’ll be getting booked in for next year xxxxx

We recently had a cake from Mel for our engagement party, she wasn’t fazed by the request to have a wind turbine on it � when we saw it we loved it, when we tasted it we loved it even more. Chocolate orange flavour on both tiers and couldn’t have been happier with it. Thanks Mel. Can’t wait for the wedding cake now xx

Ordered a gluten free cake for my partners 50th birthday in the shape of a mountain as his passion is hiking and could not have been happier, it was the tastiest gluten free cake we have ever tasted and it looked amazing, thank you Mel. Xx

My son had a superhero cake and it was amazing you could see the time and effort that had gone in to every last detail. All the kids loved the cadburys creations cake and the adults love the lotus biscoff one. Amazing!!! She even went that extra mile and got some avengers dolls for the cake my son loved every bit of it. He was speechless!!!

Mels Cakes are simply amazing!! She made the Narcos themed cake for a suprise last minute birthday party at very short notice and the birthday boy could not be happier . Not only does it look amazing it taste just as good as it looks.I'm not an icing fan but this has turned me, and the sponge was soo moist and chocolatey. Would definitely recommend Mels Cakes and will definitely be coming back for any future cakes needed. Thanks again Mel!!

Mel was a life saver and made my old man’s 83rd birthday cake with not much notice. Very accommodating and the cake was lush. I had no idea on cake decoration but I know I wanted it to be a lil cheeky, sent her a few photos and she did amazing. Laughs all around and many photos taken. Thank you so much ��

Mel made me the most amazing dinosaur cake for my son Lucas’s birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for her even though I was a nightmare and must have sent her a million emails. The extra mile she went to get the perfect dinosaurs for the cake was fantastic and I can’t thank her enough. We chose Victoria sponge and Cadbury’s chocolate which both tasted incredible. Would definitely recommend her to anyone and will be preparing my order for next years cake.

Mel was very patient, I sent her about hundred messages and pictures of different cakes. Nothing was too much trouble. Great communication. She went above and beyond! the cake looked much better than the pictures. We had two flavours. They both tasted fantastic. Thank you Mel. Will defo use again and recommend. Xx
