As many of you will be aware MhIST has received a grant from the big lottery to run a community mental health project. over the next 5 years we will be engaging with communities and asking people what type of mental health support they feel is most needed. Once when we know what a community wants we will start groups in the community. Initially we will start in Westhoughton. When carrying out engagement work whilst writing the bid the feedback that we had from some westhought...on residents was that They had very little local provision for people experiencing difficulites with their mental health, That the lenght and cost of the bus jorney from Westhoughton to Bolton was off putting, some people felt that they would be able to access services in Bolton if they could initially receive some support more locally with their mental health. We want as many people as possible to engage with us so that together we can build a stronger community. Below is a link to survey monkey where we have a questionnaire. It should only take a few minutes to fill out. If you need any additional information please call me on 01204 537885. Christine https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/B2XSQSV< br> See More
