Our first contact with Miller Metcalfe was Mr Luke Elston. He visited us immediately to discuss the sale of our house. He was extremely pleasant gentleman and polite to talk to. He explained everything required in a very proficient manner and gave an excellent professional advice. Within nine(9) days, the house was sold and we accepted the offer. Every staff we spoke to in the office were extremely helpful. Mr. Adams was very nice to talk to and helpful. He assured us his willingness to make sure all go well which he did. Number One - that's the number I felt like with Nick and the gang at Miller Metcalfe. I've been in all corners of the property market, and it's really nice to find people and a company that do their best for you, whether you're selling, buying, renting or letting. I think they deserve a pat on the back for that.

Miller Metcalfe have provided an excellent service from when I arranged to the initial viewing to when I moved in to the property.

A big thank you to James who has provided a very professional and friendly service throughout. There has been great communication which has meant the whole process was as stress free as possible. Finally, an estate agents who respond to your emails when they say they will! :D

I dealt with Yvonne from Miller metcalf she was so helpful i felt like i knew her. We must of drove her crazy ringing her every day to see if this house was available and she did everything in her power to help us get the house we really wanted :) Yvonne also helped us 3 times on her day of work !! 5 stars x

Dealt with Yvonne in Lettings and she was amazing, so helpful and friendly and really helped to explain the process (my first property to let). The property was let very quickly and Yvonne helped me with the rest of the process, such as the agreements with the tenant and inventory of my house. Definitely recommend, 5 star service from Yvonne and she made what could have been a stressful situation, very easy for me and for my new tenant; who is also very happy with the service

Brilliant estate agents, always on the end of the phone if you have a problem and keep you informed. We had a van issue which meant we we were to pick the keys up and Gaynor stayed until we arrived and then afterwards gave us a warm welcome in our new home and told us about local shops/trains, she was ace!

We rented a property from Miller Metcalfe for 3.5 years in Disley. When we were shown around, we were assured that damp was not an issue with the property. We paid a deposit of £900 and that was held with the DPS. During the 3.5 years we were tenants, we had a number of problems. A few minor issues were fixed by the landlord, but the main issues (mould, mice, severe damp, banging pipe in the toilet every time you flushed, lights above the Rayburn which did not work, periods with no hearing, periods with no running water; a non-working log burning fire) were never fixed at all, despite repeated requests.



We served Notice to Quit in due course, and spent the best part of £300 cleaning the property over 2 days. We then received an email from the owner (Alaine) claiming that the property hadn't been cleaned, needed a new carpet and needed new locks, and suggesting a sum in the region of £400 was to be withheld.



We responded straight away to that email but had no response whatsoever for a month. After chasing and making a very reasonable proposal, the sum remains with the DPS and looks to be heading to a mediation.



Avoid Miller Metcalfe rental properties at all costs!

Tried to view a house for a week. Constantly told that we would get a call back to book a viewing, to this day still not had that call, the house is still up for sale. Found another house now. Thank god we didn't put our house up for sale with Miller Metcalf. Obviously don't care if they sell your house or not. Very poor!

Shockingly handled complaint was promised a refund in december as they told me i slipped through the net and they forgot to contact me was very nearly homeless with 2 boys for Christmas extremely stressful after i complained i have chased and chased this promised good will gesture have still yet to recieve why this is not being chased on my behalf by emma mallon i fail to understand a response miller metcalfe and the reimbursement as promised in dec please without me being put out any further absolutely farcical service from start to finish

If we'd have had access to Rightmove we would have essentially sold our house ourselves!!! All viewings done by us (only offered to show around by staff when gave notice!) Appalling photos initially taken by manager (supposedly cheaper) later got photographer photos done for same price after complaining (do not be fobbed off by their sudden changes in prices/packages) Gave notice to Harwood office and sold our house the day before notice expired through contact with viewers ourselves. We made the huge mistake of thinking a well known brand would be best rather than going for the local lovely family estate agent that has recently opened! If in Harwood go with the new agent!!!

I secured a property with Miller Metcalfe, paid my holding deposit , the moving in date for the property kept being moved back, no communication from miller Metcalfe. I could no longer take the property. After many phone calls and emails, it was agreed by Emma the branch manager the deposit would be refunded this was on the 18th of August, and I still haven’t received the monies. I have chased it everyday phone calls have not been returned emails unanswered. I’m still awaiting the monies and am now looking to take legal action. Totally unprofessional I would not use this company !!

Consider this 1 star review as a compliment! Their quality of service or LACK of service rather doesn’t even warrant a star!



I haven’t got enough time to write about every detail and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Me and my partner have been let down on multiple occasions with viewings where NOBODY turned up!



The first time I phone after 10mins of waiting around and was told to wait. 30mins later I phoned back to be told ‘give me a moment and let me call a few more people for you’ - we decided we had had enough and were not going to hang around at this stage which is a good job because nobody got back to us!



As I say this is 1 example of MANY where we have been let down by shocking service and basic errors with zero customer care by this company.

Cant get anyone to reply to my email.

£400 application fee paid but i cancelled before it was done, hadnt even viewed the property, its not even built yet but i cant get my money back.

No one even replies when youve parted with your money.

Whats in place to protect people from agents raking in money from multiple application costs and letting to the one they like best?
