We recently ran ‘Mitton Hall by appointment’ which is a one to one appointment with one of our Dream Makers aka our wedding coordinators. It was so popular that we have brought it back again on Sunday 24th June. It’s straightforward to book, all you have to do is let us know a time that works best for you and which wedding coordinator you would like to show you around our dream wedding venue. We are running appointments from 11.00am until 4.00pm.

All our beautiful gardens at Mitton Hall are perfectly pruned and well looked after by our Gardner’s Pete and Chris, do you know what this flower is? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s called the Geranium ‘Wargrave Pink’ flower. Tough, vigorous and incredibly pretty with a silky salmon colour. They bloom from late spring to early autumn. Next time you are at Mitton Hall be sure to check out all our budding blooms.

Wonderful afternoon tea, wonderful easy seating and open fires. I didn’t want to leave! Thanks to all the staff....and for giving our dog some treats!

We spent a family Christmas Day here for the second year running. The staff and service were amazing! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic! We’ll definitely be booking again for next year. Thank you to everyone that made our day so special.

We got married here and can not fault the organisation and running of the day, the food and accommodation were excellent and all the staff were fantastic x Perfect venue for our style of winter wedding, Thank you!! Love Nikala & Jonathan Humphrey, 10.11.17

We got married at Mitton Hall on Sunday, and it was an absolutely incredible day. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything went smoothly.

We visit the restaurant quite a lot for family meals, and often book the private dining rooms as there are so many of us! It’s a really special place to us and I can not recommend it enough.

The location, decor and atmosphere were wonderful and the staff couldn't do enough for everyone.

This all went into making it a very special 70th birthday occasion.

Thanks so much for looking after us on our stay last weekend. The hotel was prefect , food was fantastic and the staff even better. The complimentary room upgrade was a nice touch. �

I chose Mitton Hall because not only is it beautiful for photos but the staff are always beyond helpful. Yesterday your staff took care of everyone and couldn't have been more helpful, the food was amazing too! Thank you for having us and making helping things run so smoothly. My wife and I were married here a couple of weekends ago and we were blown away by how good the staff were. The venue, as a venue, is stunning but it's the staff that really made our wedding go so smoothly. They were slick, professional and swift in everything they did for us.



Emma, the Master of Ceremonies, was on top of everything and she made us feel completely at ease by seeming to always be one step ahead of us. From ensuring my wife had drunk enough throughout the day, to giving her a vital pep-talk before walking down the isle, to making sure everyone's food was served exactly as they had ordered (to avoid that so-often-seen scenario of "oooh I totally forgot what I was supposed to be having") - we were impressed.



The whole team were great right from our initial planning with Chloe, right down to the night porter helping us move things from room to room.



The food and accommodation were top class, as well, naturally.



We'll be back, for sure.

My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary here every year. We got married here 8 years ago. We visited at the weekend and had a wonderful meal and the staff were great. We will certainly be back again soon😎👌🏻

My brother got married at Mitton Hall yesterday it was the first time I had been. The day was fantastic the staff were so helpful and pleasant. They couldn’t do enough for you. The grounds and the hall is beautiful. 100% recommended.

Me and Sara couldn't of asked for a better wedding day at mitton hall. From the original booking through to the last min of the day, the staff involved made our day just what we wanted and more! The place looked amazing! Emma was truly amazing on the day, she made everything run smoothly and me and Sara was so re-assured right from the minute we met her! What a great job she did for us! Couldn't recommend mitton hall enough! Even the food was spot on! Everyone had a great time! Thanks so much for the day and the memories!

Just had the most amazing overnight stay at Mitton Hall. From arrival to departure the staff were wonderful - a credit to the establishment. Could not do enough for you, friend, helpful and very knowledgeable about their super Hall and didn’t mind sharing this knowledge with you. We stayed in the Princess Suite really lovely just what you needed for a short but wonderful stay, very comfortable bed for a great night’s sleep.



Very nice well stocked bar, we had an evening meal in the bar area which was excellent. Nice locally sources ingredients for breakfast to set you up for the rest of the day.



This will be an absolute wonderful location to get married or have that special reception.



Can’t wait to go back. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

If you are looking for a wedding venue I cannot recommend Mitton Hall enough. From the first time we went to a wedding fayre to the day we got married we was support 100% by all the team. Lucy and the girls was always really quick to reply to any questions I had and put my mind at ease and Jen help make our day flow just perfect. It wasn’t just the dream making but everyone at Mitton couldn’t do enough for us. Their professionalism is out of the world. I just wish I could get married every weekend! I don’t even know how to begin to thank all the staff at Mitton hall for all of their hard work and efforts leading up to and during our wedding ceremony/reception last Saturday. Wow! From the minute we walked in 2 years ago, I knew we HAD to get married at Mitton and you all did not disappoint. Very responsive to any query - big or small, leading up to our day which put us very much at ease. Chloe who has responded to nearly (if not all) of our wedding queries and helped us organise the day, to Emma on the day. She made me feel calm since the minute she walked in and ran the day seamlessly. No job was too big, she was absolutely fantastic and we loved her! The food was insane, guests have said “best food at a wedding ever!” - i could honestly go on for days about how amazing Mitton is and all the staff there. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Without a doubt the best day of my life. Love, Mrs Aspinall (hehe!)

Beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings. We stayed 2 night for as part of the wedding party on Thursday. From start to finish the staff where fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Definitely going to recommend to friend and family not just for a wedding but also special occasions (i.e. romantic stays)

Attended Mitton Hall for our friends wedding and had a wonderful time. Beautiful atmospheric venue, staff so helpful and were very attentive especially offering a delicious gluten free option. Would highly recommend.
