Moat Farm Riding Centre Description
We are a friendly children's riding centre that specialises in improving children's confidence and horsemanship as well as creating a lifetime love of horses and ponies. We also assist adults with their riding, in the mornings whilst children are at school
We are a Pony Club Approved Centre (the worlds third largest youth organisation) and our Instructors are British Horse Society trained as well as holding the United Kingdom Coaching Certificates
(UKCC 2)
Regular Pony Club sessions are held as well as Pony Days and an annual Camp.
Our new Pony Parties are proving very popular!

Such a lovely week of sunshine, clipping and then rounded off with Pony Club tonight and the plaiting badge. Well Done to all..... Looking forward to tomorrow and more sunshine and learning!

A productive week with superstar Griff calmly accepting bricks delivered by hydraulic crane next to his stable and our new wall reinforced for the horse with the longest legs!!

Happy Sunday..... This week has seen the start of a new chapter for us, welcome to our family Yogi X
A beautiful sunny afternoon exercising Griff and Bobble, then the Full Moon rising over the yard at evening stables on one side and the sun setting on the other side.....
We regularly have all our saddles checked to see that they fit all the horses comfortably..... A super service from Bob Judd at Juddphurs Saddlery yesterday kicked off a busy start to the New Year and one lucky person stepped up to her first ever jumping saddle. This will help her with her goal in competition.
Happy New Year to all.... Looking forward to what 2020 may bring, lots of positives to look forward to and gratitude will continue to be one of my words of the year! The horses are really enjoying their Christmas Present of a Hot Horse shower, even those slightly 'difficult ones'!
Lovely couple of Christmas celebration days, including our Christmas Eve Pony Morning and then squeezing in a Christmas Day hack..... Thank you to all our clients for the Christmas gifts, we appreciate them greatly x
