Monton Unitarian Church

So the work has started! And it's seriously exciting, although we really need the rain to give us a break. But floors are being lowered, and toilets are being built, and ramp foundations dug - and somebody even mentioned a new lick of paint! Well, for the entrance vestibule for now.
Please consider helping us to pay for this essential work, to make our building more inclusive for everyone, so that we can host some really fabulous community events in the church, and be a place where EVERY member of the community (and by community we mean the whole of Salford, not church members only) can come.
We're grateful for any bit of help you can give. Thank you.

And we're selling lots and lots of teddy bears, and the coffee and tea to share with them! A right teddy bear's picnic, as well as a fantastic opportunity to support some of our local artisans. So do come along, this is going to be fantastic!

Come on guys, last chance - you don't want to miss this! And I'm just ordering the refreshments to go with it, as well, so don't make me eat it all myself!

After Salford's Pink Picnic on Saturday, comes Monton Unitarian's Pride Sunday - join us at 10.45am as we consider the question of "Pride - a party or a protest", and acknowledge that it is in fact both.

This Sunday is Father's Day. A special day for many, a difficult day for many more, for a whole host of reasons. So at our service, rather than focus on fathers, we're going higher and wider and deeper as we celebrate unconditional love - wherever it is found, and by whomever it is offered. And remembering, of course, that we too can offer this amazing gift. And at the heart of our service, we'll be listening to a beautiful song by James Morrison and Joss Stone - My Love Goes On. Join us - and celebrate love. Everyone is welcome.
