What an amazing pub staff are great and always smiling food is fantastic as is the manager Liz she is truly Queen of Moreton Hall and the king is amazi g to tending to the fish and ducks of you have not been here get down it is truly the place of Morton
Went for a family brunch this weekend and the member of staff who served us was extremely accommodating and also took the time to come over and chat to our kids and show an interest in them. It's great to go places that make families feel welcome and offer good food that's good value for money!
Very friendly staff, good choice of food delivered piping hot and fresh. Nice surroundings would have sat in the garden but it was too hot very cool inside. Highly recommend a visit
Not even my local but always go here as I love it! Nice food, great service and lush atmosphere x
Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, what more could you ask for........ and to top it off a lovely Irish accent
Lovely attentive staff wether we're comming in for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, bringing the dogs to sit outside or sitting inside- food is always amazing #happycustomers
Love the pub the food and the bar staff are lovely too
Excellent staff, Charlie was very helpful, food was delicious and quick even though they was extremely busy. Well done, and 100%, we will be returning. Thank you all.
Been here for drinks a couple of times before but ate here for the first time yesterday. They managed to fit us in for a last minute booking for my grandads birthday which I am very appreciative of! The Irish gentleman (who I believe may be Conrad from reading other reviews) went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic - from general conversation to paying extra attention to detail to make my grandads birthday special. We ordered 4 lovely roasts followed by desserts which we thoroughly enjoyed and believe was great value for money! I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the staff as it really was the perfect end to a lovely day.
Very popular venue, good choice of beers, food good quality but at busy times the quality can drop off. Constant queue for food/drink despite 3 behind the bar makes me wonder if a better system is needed. Oh and order more chicken!
Lovely friendly staff and landlord, food was served quickly and was nice and hot good choice on menu would defiantly recommend
Had a lovely Mother's Day meal! Roast beef was superb! Amazing valve for money! Great local pub food. Atmosphere was lovely- busy but not rushed, bar staff were very friendly - will def be back in the not too distant future 😀
Friendly greeting when ordering at the bar. Food served in a reasonable time and lots of it mixed grill was good but the steak was a bit chewy on the whole a good meal at a fair price
Friendly local, Conrad always makes time to have a chat & staff friendly & helpful , pub grub mixture of good &a not so good , raw chips last night but lovely last week, service timing good but husband would like a roast on Sunday evening, always busy & children r welcome but not allowed to run around witch makes for a comfy visit for everyone
not all that could of made better myself
Usual crappy British pub food. Flavourless bland fare. All processed pre packed meals. Poor show. We were fooled by the amount of people eating. Thought it must be decent but no. Even our 6 year old who had about three tea spoons of pasta refused to eat the gloppy pasta covered in a jar sauce. No love or pride in food here just generic pap. Such a shame.
Service was ok but the menus were sticky with bits of food stuck to them, the carbonara was mediocre and the cutlery was grubby, having said that the staff were courteous and a nice selection of ales.
My broccoli was black and burnt, nothing like the menu that stated steamed broccoli. My daughter's sausages were black, burnt and crisp.
We will not be returning

First visit and will be the last. Food took ages to arrive. The starters were fine but we had to ask where the main was. When it did arrive there was only one small slice of roast beef !!! The table next to us had two but we had heard that the beef had sold out so feel we were left with the last slice each !!! Had to ask where the side of cauliflower cheese was for it to arrive and it was luke warm. Not impressed and will not be returning.
