Mr Fothergill'S Description

Mr Fothergill's provide a product range for home gardeners. From flower and vegetable seeds to young plants, potatoes, onions, garlic, shallots, vegetable plants, soft fruit and fruit trees. We are sure that from the amateur to the enthusiast there is something to meet your requirements.

From the stable block of Lillie Langtry's former Newmarket home in 1978, Mr Fothergill's began selling seed to garden shops and centres. Today, the company is one of the most respected in the market and we now also supply to international markets and direct to the customer through mail order.

The home of Mr. Fothergill's still remains at Kentford, Newmarket, although the premises are now significantly different, with purpose built offices, packing and storage buildings.

Carrot Cascade F1 is a high quality, deliciously sweet carrot, very reliable and ideal for baby carrots. Sweet, tasty roots resist running to seed and store well. Plus, it's an excellent source of vitamin A and antioxidants!

I found on your web site two vegetable cultivars I have had difficulty sourcing in readiness for 2019, on line ordering very straight forward, reasonable delivery time, well packaged with an added bonus of two packets of free seeds.

Well done and thank you.

User

Terrible and incompetent company. Went through the process of ordering all my seeds online, paid for them only for the order to be instantly cancelled by you for no valid reason. You still took my money though and now won't refund me. I've called you 4 times and I'm constantly fobbed off. First and last time using this unreliable company.

User

Placed 2 orders with yourselves in the last couple of months, first order was for sweet peas. They arrived I followed the instructions that came with the plants, since I planted them over half of them have died and rest aren't looking that special.

The second order was from your sale advertised on your website, 3 sets of plants now sold out that I ordered. The others 2 out 3 were ok and the 3rd is of poor quality not what I expected from a company like yourselves. I hope the out of stock plants will be credited back to my account.

User

Packet of Dwarf Bean seeds that are supposed to last until Aug 2018. Seems like they were dead on arrival. Planted 6 in the garden in a large pot of potting mix. None came up. In case the birds ate them, I planted four, each in a small pot filled with seed raising mix, kept them inside and started mist spraying after 2 days Nothing has come up. Dead as a dodo.

This is the second lot of faulty seeds from Fothergill. The first lot had the wrong seeds in the packet.
