Also we can create more ordered gardens with defined areas, and ornamental edible plant beds, it all depends what your looking for in your garden. We mainly use Perennials in our designs as they are low maintenance and come back year after year.

If you prefer a quicker option, we can provide peat free sustainably sourced compost to fill your beds.

Water and Soil Management
Muddy Fingers believes that feeding your soil creates food for the soil. We can take a sample and test your soil quality, and then we can use Bio-remediation and phyto-remediation practices to regenerate soil. we can set you up with composting systems, Vermiculture set ups, Bio-teas, Animal manure to help put essential nutrients back into your soil. If your garden is dry or you are experiencing erosion we can install rainwater collection systems or micro swales that double up as paths, these encourage your garden to absorb water. Muddy Fingers can recycle your garden waste into mulch for your beds if this is suitable.

Habitatscapes
Biodiversity is important in an ecological garden, we believe this should be encoraged to keep down unwanted pests, that may have a nibble on your garden. We provide a variety of habitats for helpful critters, that can help restore a natural balance in your garden, and are integral to the health and resilience of your edible garden.
We can create natural environments for helpful critters can plant native grasses, wild flowers and mini beast areas for your garden. If this is not to your taste or space we have other options for creating habitats, these include;
