***Mechanical works completed*** Wigan little theatre has recently extended their premises. Within the new building they have had a full refurbishment turning the old building into a modern up to date coffee lounge and bar area. Working in conjunction with Laurel LTD, We have installed a full new fit out of the ladies and mens toilets, installed and commissioned full central heating and domestic hot water systems. We have also fitted the bar area with wash facilities. The floors are being carpeted this week ready for their grand opening to show off the new coffee lounge and bar area.

***Exciting News*** Now Cambridge street is coming to a close and we're just adding the last final touches, our guys are back at it!
Works started this week, developing the brand new Lancashire Energy HQ for Blackpool and The Fylde College as part of the newly formed Blackpool Enterprise Zone.
This will be a cutting edge training centre delivering specialist technical and professional skills, required by the energy industry. ... We will be doing a full mechanical installation including heating systems, domestics and plant room for Bardsley Construction, all set for completion March 2017!

This development was completed in July 2015 on behalf of X1 developments. The iconic Salford Town Hall building was converted from its original use to form 134 apartments, predominantly student accommodation. This retrofit scheme again consisted of the design, supply and installation of the following, basement plant room, potable boosted cold water services, domestic hot water services, above ground drainage and rainwater services and gas supply system. The client on this scheme chose to go for the Rehau system within the apartments, which meant all water services were taken from a manifold within the access in the bathroom, through to each individual appliance. This left no joints on the pipework throughout the apartments and proved to be a big success.

Water St. is a residential apartment block, which consists of 4 blocks making up the 307 apartments and 6 town houses. Our scope within this package was to design and install the mechanical and plumbing system throughout the entire building, this included potable boosted cold water and sprinkler services, above ground drainage systems, rainwater attenuation systems and domestic hot and cold water systems, within each apartment. This contract is programmed to complete in July of 2017 and is currently running efficiently and on schedule.

This high-rise development consisted of two tower blocks, block A-28 floors and block B-21 floors. The two towers made up the 282 apartments. Our scope within this package was to design and install the mechanical and plumbing systems throughout the engineer building, this included potable boosted cold water and sprinkler services, above ground drainage systems, rain water attenuation systems and domestic hot and cold water systems, within each apartment. The contract was delivered on time within the 70 week program. The client Renaker Build were happy with our speed and quality of workmanship throughout the job, which led on to us securing a further contract which ran side by side with this one for the first 6 months.

This project was recently handed over in August 2016, the 16 month contract proving to be our largest mechanical install to date. The project consisted of a large roof top plant area where by MWA installed large heavy gauge welded pipework up to 12” in diameter, full installation of the heating system, chilled water/cooling system, domestic water services, boosted cold water services, rain water harvesting and above ground drainage. The installation included industry leading controls and design to make this landmark installation our best yet.

Similar to the previous scheme, Tameside Engineering block was a full mechanical installation inclusive of plant room installation, heating system, cooling system, domestic hot water services, boosted cold water services including Cat 5 to science labs, full gas services installation to plant room and lab equipment, 4 male and 4 female toilet block installations. Again this scheme was delivered on time and to the highest standard.

Tameside College adult learning centre was an installation which completed in the summer of 2015. This was a new build development carried out by main contractor, Kier. On this project our scope was to design and install the heating and chilled and domestic water systems. We installed a roof top plant room, full central heating system, chilled water/cooling system, domestic hot water system, potable boosted cold water system along with Cat 5 boosted cold water system, 4 male and 4 female toilet block installations and 4 disabled bathrooms. This project was carried out within the agreed timescales and delivered to the highest standard, so much so that Kier offered us the opportunity to take on phase 2, Tameside College engineering block, this project started in November 2015.

Site visit to our Water Street project 03/08/2016

Yesterday was a busy day! Went for a site visit for some images and videos of the progress on our Water Street site. Was quite a windy day being 28 storeys high but with the help of our fantastic (& patient) site supervisor David Hodkinson, taking time out of his busy day to escort me around the site we got some impressive progress shots.
