Our Resourcing Manager, Sam James along with his ambassadors, visited 7 different countries in Europe between April and June.
Sam is restless in his pursuit to meet Dentists hoping to move to the UK and work alongside mydentist, he travelled a total of 11,272 miles, spent 29 hours in the air and 24 nights in hotels.
Over 120 dentists attended our events and some have already started in a mydentist practice in the UK. We will be announcing dates for our second round of event...s which will be starting in September so keep an eye out for tickets.

We recently celebrated our first Student Nurse Graduation, which saw 73 of our first intake of Student Dental Nurses pass their OCSE exam achieving a 93% pass rate.

We’re marking the 70th anniversary of the NHS by launching our new campaign to get more kids in to see the dentist over the summer holidays.
Last year 78% of our revenue was for the NHS and thanks to them, NHS kids' check-ups are free including a fluoride treatment where necessary!

73 of our first intake of Student Dental Nurses passed their OSCE Exam in January 2018 which is a remarkable result achieving a 95% pass rate. We hosted our very first graduation ceremony on Friday which brought everyone together to celebrate this amazing success, we had guest speakers, goody bags, certificate presentations and prize giveaways.
mydentist academy works hard to help our Students and our Qualified Nurses and we are lucky to have so many dedicated, hardworking in...dividuals ready to start building their careers with us. We have heavily invested in our Nurses this year and believe we will always have the right career structure in place for you to grow and progress.
Congratulations to the runners up of our raffle draw Casey Parkes and Rachel Peterson who each won a Kindle and winner Emily Brown who walked away with an Ipad!

Ingrid Perry, Practice Manager at mydentist Holderness Road, has been awarded an MBE for her tireless services to education and the improvement of dental health in young people within her local community.
Ingrid founded charity Teeth Team which has already achieved a 20% reduction in children’s extractions under general anaesthetic in one area of Hull alone.

Each year, 2 Clinicians from the mydentist family travel to Tanzania to provide vital emergency treatment and training for Bridge2Aid. We are proud to support such a wonderful charity who believe that everybody has the right to safe emergency dental care.

It's been a fast paced but enjoyable 4 years I've had with my dentist.
There are great opportunities to progress and achieve within the company. I started as a trainee nurse, then qualified nurse, head nurse, then practice manager.
I have a great team, a supportive boss and the opportunity to be part of a caring but successful business.
It's always exciting to be apart of such an innovative company and see the exciting advancements of dentistry at its finest. :)
I love working for mydentist, never have I worked for a company that allows you to make your role your own and progress! Lucky to work with such a great bunch of people day in and day out.
Having worked for mydentist for the past 4 years, I have seen great progression. With the introduction of the Academy, allowing my team of clinicians and support staff to further enhance their knowledge and expertise to the rebranding of our practices which our patients and staff alike all love. Cannot see myself going anywhere else!
During my time at MyDentist I have only known the company to be fully supportive on any decision I have made. The entire team are really welcoming and all have a positive mindset. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to work. My peers all work together to create the best outcome possible. The career prospects of working at the business are great and as the business is growing this will only improve.
