With 4 Days to go until the New Year here is an awesome video.
2017, January 1st, I sat on my balcony in Dubai and I mapped out my year.
I documented and made a promise to myself using a few snaps on Instagram *yes social media, but hey it has helped me hit goals in the last 5 years.
... I made some goals and gave a thought to things that are important to me....
Where and when I would travel.
What makes me happy.
My Values and Beliefs, did what I was doing follow these.
What did I want to look and feel like.
Financial goals.
I made a lot of changes, some un expected and out of my control.
Some worked out way better than I thought. Some not so.
Despite losing the biggest male figure in our family our Taid (our Grandad) & hearing more news about illnesses in the family.
I hit all my goals travel, body, financial, health, career and surprised myself that sitting down and spending that day to make goals and really think about it WORKED!
Not only this but I coached many more, inspired 100's and kept on rolling doing what I know and love best.

**Mind over Matter**
It is not cold outside.
I got the legs out for the gym today in attempt to get a sweat on!
... To get myself moving over this Yumm! FOOD FILLED Season.
Today’s gym session I didn’t KILL MYSELF in attempt to burn calories!
I simply did what I felt like doing.
25 minutes nice and easy on the Crosstrainer with an Audio Book
10 Minutes Mobility / Yoga Flow with some chilled tunes
Wished a few people Merry Christmas and then completed…
4 Rounds With 1 minute rest In-between each round 20 KB Swings (with a challenging weight) 10 KB Overhead Squats Single Arm *Lightweight, Mobility, Shoulder Stability (You can do 30 bodyweight Squats, depending on ) 15 Push Ups
Give it a go on Boxing Day, if you are not too hungover :-p

Winter Sickness
Each year winter puts MILLIONS of people out of action.
Windows are shut and doors are closed, letting these little gremlins fester, GROW and spread.
... ARGH!!
That time of year where we just want to enjoy and jump around…
I feel you, I have had a month or longer of one sickness to the next my immune system CANNOT keep up.

**ONE THING AT A TIME**

Here are my top 10 tips to busting Winter Christmas Sniffles. 😎
1. Get your sleep 6-8 hours, get cosey, naps are GREAT!! Eat your veggies
2. Don’t skip out on carbs, YES LADIES, please keep fuelling your bodies and avoid being scared to eat due to Christmas Belly… This is the time of year to enjoy :) (I have you covered in 2018 dont worry)
3. Frequent hand washing avoid spreading and sharing germs. (especially when heading to the gym and touching your laptop - KEEP IT CLEAN)
5. Herbal Teas.. LOVE THEM! (I have a bunch of faves ask if you need recommendations.)
6. Get outdoors, open the windows! Natural daylight as much as possible. (Breath the fresh air.)
7. Keep your diet varied, to include ALL your vital vitamins and minerals.
8. DO NOT skip breakfast!! (30-40g porridge, winter berries and a sprinkle of seeds add 2 eggs and some spinach on the side… my idea of HEAVEN!)
9. Move more! I know all you want to do is curl up in bed, get up and about as if it were a summers day, it isn't that bad outside. (If I can go from Dubai to UK and get out you can too!)
10. Hot Water, Honey and Lemon. (helps digestion, immune system, it can also boost your metabolism! WINNING! In the am on an empty stomach is the best!)
