Vinyl only record label and sound system from the mountains of North West England. Lovers and promoters of sound system music from dub, steppers and dub techno to dubstep and jungle. Running bass filled music events since 2010.
Natural Selectas Sound System Description
Natural Selectas are Production and DJ duo Patrick Godbert and Tom Povey, who play an eclectic selection of forward thinking positive vibes music, encompassing roots reggae, digital riddims and heavyweight steppas sounds in a strictly vinyl fashion.
They started out back in 2008 as live dubstep act βDubstep Pigeonβ performing their own productions using an array of analog gear and have also run events (most notably βSkank Outβ) since 2010.
In 2017 they started Natural Selectas as a means to get back to the roots of sound system culture. Shortly after that in 2018 they built their own sound system and finally in 2019 came the label.
Their aim is to release limited runs of dubplates previously only heard in the dance, never to be released digitally and never to be repressed.
