I've got some wine bottle stoppers going cheap. The wooden ones with metal bottoms and the coloured pencil ones are a bargain at £10. All those with cork bottoms I'll let go for £5. Make great Christmas presents, especially for teachers.

A small plate made from Beech. Measures 10 1/2" in diameter and 1" in depth. The rim is slices of a branch set in a red resin. What do you think?

A little bowl / hollow form which I turned out of a scrappy piece of Ash given to me by a neighbour. This stands 5" high and 6" diameter.
The first picture is what it was like when I first put it on the lathe, so quite a transformation.
It is for sale so if you would like to buy it, message me.

A beautiful little bowl made from Pippy Ash. 8 1/2" in diameter and 1 1/2" deep. It has some lovely markings on it and it's stained with Autunmly colours. Up for sale if you fancy it.

A small vase made out of green Elm. Stands 91/2" high and is 5" in diameter at the top. Inside is stained black. Some lovely grain patterns on the outside.

An elegant vase made from oak. Stands 10" high. The top has a sunburst colour finish with gold embelishment. The pictures don't actually do it justice as you can't see the gold.
What do you think? Let me know.

A spalted beech bowl Measures 8" x 2 1/2". As the wood is so spalted it was a bugger to turn, moved continuously on the lathe. It's still a bit punky but looks good.

Found a piece of oak on the shed and thought it might make a nice bowl.
Measures 7 1/2" in diameter and 2 3/4" high. Got a slight inclusion in it which I think looks really nice.

A bowl made from Idagbo, an African wood. Infilled around the edge with coloured pencils and black resin putty. 8" diameter and 3" deep. A bit different.

User

A bit of an oddity but I like it. Stands 3" high.

The pack of dogs is getting bigger. Sapele, Pear and spalted beech.

User

A bowl made from Willow. 10" in diameter and 4"deep.
Coloured with sunburst colours, yellows, oranges and reds and finished with a high gloss wax.

A bowl made out of oak. A really hard turn. Didn't like the top so I filled it in with some resin putty, Zebra style. 11" in diameter and about 3" in depth.
Not sure if I like it so I'm going to let it go for the price I paid for the wood.

A few more 'arty' ladies. They stand around 10" tall and finished in various colours.
Made from Ash, pear and sweet chestnut.

User

A couplf of 11" inch platters made of Beech. Both around 1 1/2" deep. One is coloured yellow, orange and red and the other is green, blue and purple

User

A bit of an arty lady. She stands around 8" tall and made out of cherry with a mahogany hat.
