Congratulations to all those involved in yet another successful Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. NEH vets Matt Smith, Benoit Herinckx and Charlie Smith were happy to form part of the veterinary team for the event and watched as Tim Price took his first four-star title on British soil.

Thanks to today's Chairmen and Speakers, delegates at the NEH-sponsored International Symposium on Equine Reproduction are now up to date with the latest research findings relating to the non-pregnant mare.

NEH is very proud to be supporting this important research meeting which has brought equine reproduction experts from around the globe to Cambridge. Fascinating contributions and all lectures very well attended.

This weekend saw the running of the Newmarket and Thurlow Area 8 NEH Tetrathon. Well done to all the NEH vets (Zara, Simon, Jeremy, Tom and Mark) children for taking part and filling up the podium!

Happy to welcome an enthusiastic group of Royal Veterinary College students to NEH for a tour this morning.

Thank you so much for looking after pinky for the last two weeks. wonderful place with fantastic people , can't thank you enough

Pinky had 10** care whilst here (thought he was a king) we would like to thank all the staff at NEH for the great care he had whilst he was here and the daily updates putting our minds to rest :) absolutely fabulous place

Our little unicorn needed colic surgery. She had the very best of care from a wonderful team and is a very happy girl now. The local free call out day for designated areas is an excellent service to make use of for routine vaccinations and non urgent needs. Andrea and and more recently Fiona have attended our ponies at home and we are so grateful to have such expertise on hand. Everything is so well explained. You never need to feel silly speaking in layman's terms. Thank you NEH.

Jagger the foal that damaged his hock on the fence finally got out of restricted grazing today and he is doing brilliant.



Just a HUGE thanks to the team at NEH that looked after him so so well when he was in there.

If I could give you more stars I would. The care for Tiger has been amazing and the consideration for us as owners from Laura and will has been second to none. Thank you to everyone for looking after my boy so well!

Ian Wright is my wonder vet of choice. He's been exceptional over the years to the horses. The whole team are world class- my first port of call. Excellent service - wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I would just like to say how amazing all the NEH staff have been in helping my big man Warwick. Sadly today I decided enough was enough for him after a year long fight to fix a coffin joint and suspensory injury. He even trailed an American injection course for melanomas. After a year he was still un-sound but I can truly say the NEH team have done all they could for him and still wanted to try more. However, I decided that I did not want to put him through anymore. Thank you so much Will (referrals), Rosie (referrals), Jo (referrals office), all the yard staff and Andrea (who has no sadly left and is much missed) for all your support and care. I miss him greatly already but a lot of comfort comes from knowing he had such a great team trying desperately to make him right. Thank you so much, Saskia xxxx

I worked at Greenwood & Ellis before it was Newmarket Equine Hospital it was the Best job I've ever had hands down! I learnt so much, I worked with fantastic knowledgeable people, I loved my job!

If anyone is considering working as a vet/nurse do prac here, you'll learn so much and get so much experience and see lots of different cases!

As a registered Veterinary Nurse and qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist I have incredibly high standards when it comes to patient care, that's why I was relieved that when my own horse suffered a life-threatening ailment she was given a superior level of care by top surgeons, consultants, interns, nurses and grooms in this country, possibly even in the world. Thank you for saving my horse's life and keeping me personally updated on a regular basis.

Amazing place, they took great care of my horse Rosie, who had been there for 6 days, I trust them 100%, a big thank you to all the fantastic staff for making her better.

A month ago I lost my boy very suddenly due to colic after 12 years together, Jess was fantastic from the moment she arrived not only dealing with my horse very quickly but dealing with me who knew that due to the severity of his colic there was only one option, Whilst my heart broke Jess went above and beyond the call of duty. I may be biased as I worked on the yard for nearly a year at NEH but you just couldn't get a better veterinary practice. Thank you
