Nhs Blood Donation

The team at Dukinfield Town Hall yesterday evening were so friendly and welcoming. I brought my daughter along for the first time and was apprehensive as to her reaction. The staff couldn't have been any more supportive with her. I told them how I wanted her to see what it was all about. With my daughter being quite an inquisitive child, they were only happy to show her the ropes. Offering her biscuits and joining in with her banter. Thanks guys and I'll see you again in May.

The staff at Plymouth Grove are simply superb! I can't fault anything, everything from the welcome to the after-care was world class. I encourage anyone that can to go and donate blood...such a small thing to do which can make a huge difference. Book today via their website, super easy to do and they send you reminders before your appointment too �

Is it wrong of me to actually look forward to my.donation sessions (15 to date)? The Team at Plymouth Grove in Manchester are wonderful; kind, caring, patient, funny and professional all at the same time. They do a flipping marvellous job.and I get to have custard creams and mini Cheddars - what's not to love!!!

Came in today that hundreds of people were waiting to donate blood after the last night incident and you managed to handle everybody with amazing professional and extremely friendly services. I first started giving blood many years ago, then platelets and now platelets snd plasma. Over 110 donations so far. Staff at Plymouth Grove, Manchester are excellent, fun and great at their jobs. But then the staff are great at every donation site I've been to. If you've never done it, give it a go. !

I donate platelets every 4 weeks , sharing is the right thing to do , so if you can do , do , it only takes a hour or two sat in a comfy chair with a brew �

Plus with them testing my blood every time I donate , if anything was wrong with it , I'd be informed right away�

Had my appointment at Plymouth Grove in Manchester yesterday and was so pleased to be there. The staff are amazing, make you feel so welcome and do whatever they can to make you comfortable.

As a nurse I've seen what a difference our donations make to people's lives. It's only an hour or two out of your day and you've saved a life.

Gave blood yesterday at the Plymouth Grove centre in Manchester - Fantastic as always! Adele took my blood and I found out that she was in training and had only been in this role for 8 weeks. She gave a wonderful service and it was without a doubt the easiest donation I have given to date so just wanted to recognise that! I hope you are able to pass this message on to her :)

We get texts to thank us for going and where our donation has been used and the staff at Plymouth Grove are our very own version of guardian angels, looking after our precious donations and making sure they are ready to be used when needed. When I donate, it's just like going to visit friends given how friendly all the staff are and how well they look after us. If you haven't thought of donating blood or platelets, please reconsider.
