This stunning Prentice furniture true in-frame kitchen, in a combination F&B Dimpse and Lamproom Grey was installed last summer. The island arrangement was produced using a variety of curved components to achieve the continuity of the shape/design. The curved back panel and shaped baulkhead, with a rebated ceiling extractor and fibre optic star effect lighting, were all manufactured by the fitter Phil Sayer to complement the shape of the bespoke oak breakfast bar and overall design of the island. Other notable features are the simply beautiful Super White granite worktops, Quooker “twin taps” standard & boiling water tap combination and the grey mirror feature panel in the dresser area…..overall it is a simply stunning kitchen that speaks for itself….thank you Mark Armer and Liz Armer for the opportunity to work for you on this project.

A British handle-less kitchen in lava quartz laminate, installed last autumn.
For this kitchen we worked around the existing quartz worktops as the client was happy with them and didn’t want to replace them unnecessarily. We used the flexibility of our British kitchen range to provide special width cabinets to enable us to use different unit content to the original kitchen whilst fitting around the existing worktop.
We joined the tall units to the sink run to stop the corner feeling like a dead space and we designed and manufactured a bespoke wine rack to populate that corner and give it more purpose. The bronze mirror just finishes of what is a really striking kitchen. Love it!!

We only worked on the kitchen and bedroom elements of this recently renovated property, but wanted to show it as a complete entity as the clients, owners of Lakes Doors are able to provide a number of the elements on display within the property…specifically the gorgeous glass doors and room dividers, the frameless architectural doors and the luxury wall panelling seen in the living room. This sleek modern bedroom furniture is from the Hepplewhite Moda range in Dark Pine with mirror. The real feature in this bedroom is a burnt timber wall panel behind the bed, created by the client himself and back lift for maximum effect. Hayley Darnell James Darnell

This stunning modern kitchen was recently completed by us and we have had the opportunity to go back and get some images! As designers it is always rewarding to work for clients who are open to something a bit more edgy and this kitchen space certainly has some striking elements.
The British handle-less furniture in a charcoal satinised lacquer was combined with a handle-less channel that was powder coated to match the door colour. A veined quartz was used and book matched t...o allow the pattern to flow from the worktop up the back panel behind the sink and a herringbone effect concrete floor tile accentuates the sharp lines of the kitchen and adds the perfect contrast. A bespoke table frame was designed and used to provide a fixed dining area and powder coated to match the furniture. Builder, Mark Fairclough removed the existing dividing wall and competed other structural works and of the 2 original doorways, one was retained and the other re-instated as a matching glass opening supplied by Lakes Doors, along with one of their bespoke architrave-less doors to cover the boiler. The TV was recessed into the wall space, the extractor fitted into a baulk head and Neff appliances, Quooker tap and concrete light fittings complete the look. Hayley Darnell James Darnell

While we are on the theme of historic jobs, here are two more examples form an old memory stick. Both kitchens were not quite complete and the images were only meant to be taken as a reference, but having re-discovered them, we felt they still warranted posting as they show a good amount of the installation off. One is in Farrow & Ball French grey and the other is in Farrow & Ball Dix Blue.

We have posted pictures of this one before, probably better ones! But this kitchen deserves another showing in my opinion, its such a lovely modern space! It was also found on the old memory stick and was completed around 3 years ago.

Found on an old memory stick here is a kitchen completed around 5 yrs ago, apologies for the poor quality images. It was A German Kitchen in Tera oak, offset with Gloss magnolia wall units. Features include; Steel rail handles, 50mm framing panels and Corian worktops.
The client had exacting requirements to ensure that the kitchen performed in a way that made cooking as little effort as possible, due to health issues. Everything was considered at length to facilitate how th...e client wanted to operate within the space and also to accommodate a large quantity of kitchen related items.
The raised furniture line that delineates the kitchen from the dining area was dual purpose. Its first purpose was discrete additional storage for infrequently used items, but it was also to provide a screen to conceal any kitchen related activities from the dining room, without putting a full wall up. Laundry appliances are concealed to the right of the fridges and extensive storage solutions were integrated to ensure that minimal effort was required to work within the kitchen space.

Fitted in to a stunning period house in Garstang this kitchen speaks for its’self
The magnolia Shaker door combined with Cornwall oak worktops is a classic and timeless combination, but the clients choice of decorating and accessories is what really set this kitchen off and gives it its identity. We all love this here at JNBD.

This compact yet classy kitchen was completed around 12-18months ago and we recently returned to get some photo’s. The brief was to create a Laura Ashley/French Chic feel to the kitchen which would complement a Laura Ashley dresser/pantry cabinet that the customer planned to purchase as a stand alone unit. The simple in-frame shaker door in Farrow & Ball Slipper Satin, was used with 2 colours of quartz, to break it up a bit and create subtle tonal contrasts between the elements. Designed with as few a wall units as possible and the open feature end unit to increase the sense of space, it ended up a lovely space to be. The gorgeous herringbone flooring really add that luxury feel.
