Very busy great shopping experience. Night life was great with some lovely unspoiled pubs little Turk's head is a great bar friendly staff and locals stayed at the little northern hotel great place for drinks and somewhere to lay your head .

If you want to experience the real Manchester, the pubs, bars, food and people, then this is the place to be.

The Northern Quarter is just brilliant, loads of top bars and pubs full of top people having a top time with not one prentsinous bastard in sight. The Northern Quarter is the pride of Manchester and I love it.

The Northern Quarter is a true reflection of Manchester at its best...the street art is a sight to behold and a visit to Afflecks Palace is a must for anyone who likes retro clothing etc ....

Spent a Sunday morning wandering round the back streets looking at the street art. Amazing! Next time we will finish our trip with a lovely breakfast at one of the many cafes/ restaurants!

Beautiful people with beautiful spirits!

Very friendly towards all ages and types and most of all animal friendly ! Dogs can chill in pubs and bars and this makes the NQ an amazing experience for everyone who visits .

Loads of great bars and places to eat. Not ridiculously priced either.

Great night out with the lads some fantastic bars the night life was superb 2nd to none the Turkish head just to name one was class very old bar I love places that keep their character you find pubs in Manchester that do the atmosphere was electric in the northern Quarter and it is a Area you most visit if you love the Manchester seen and the music well this is the place for you.

Excellent day out in the Northern Quarter. Despite the cloudy weather, had no problem wandering the streets and taking in the cool artwork and historical buildings. The bars are plentyful and the people of manchester very warm and friendly. Will definately come back again!!

I had my first experience of the 'Northern Quarter' this weekend.Its busy,vibrant,caters for many different types of people,& I would definitely recommend it to others for sure

Used to be a great place with a friendly crowd and great tunes

but now the hole area has been taken over by the print works overspill
