Long after the 12th century monks left the cloisters, Hollywood legends of stage and screen Laurence Olivier & Vivien Leigh made Notley Abbey their home, inviting many famous faces to visit including Marilyn Monroe and Humphrey Bogart.
The grand stone barn Banqueting Hall is perfect for wedding breakfasts for between 40-190 guests. Notley Abbey is licensed for civil ceremonies both indoors and outside in the charming gardens that will take your breath away.
