What an amazing Christmas party we had in the Ocean Suite last night with fantastic entertainment laid on! Excellent service throughout from very polite staff and I’ve saved the best til last ...the food! Very generous portions of excellent food..all well presented and served piping hot. The chef and catering team certainly excelled themselves. I would certainly recommend the Ocean for any event!

We've visited the play area and deck more than once. Restaurant staff very helpful. Soft play area very clean and spacious! Lovely that it has so much for younger siblings also. We loved it that much we visited again, had a issue with the food, however they couldnt do enough, refunded and gave our next entry free and was still asking if we were happy with the outcome or if they could do anything else. 5*****.

This is a brilliant soft play area for kids. Food in snack bar good but not enough staff on. Had to find someone to clean our table then the cleaner became our food server. Other than that we loved it. Would have liked to have tried the other amenities if had more time.

This is the ultimate venue for a Wedding - great facilities - large dance floor and amazing views from the second floor. Lift available to all floors.

I have had the pleasure of working here on more than one occasion, booked privately and for the company’s own events.

Had a lovely time in the soft play area after baby ballet . The people working there were very kind, helpful and friendly . The play area is a lovely, safe and clean place for children to play !

Great venue. My son had a great bowling party, great food afterwards and party bags and balloons as well. Thanks for a great event made my son's day.

Friendly staff. Popped in on the off chance of a game of bowls with our little one. We were playing within 15mins!

Soft play was closed but we will definitely try that out the next time we visit Exmouth.

Went for the Tapas night on Thursday, sadly someone need to organise the staff better as they are a bit all over the place so everything took quite a while. The lighting was so poor at the tables it was difficult to read the menu but the waitress explained they were in the process of upgrading it....

The Tapas itself was not outstanding.

On the good side when we had finished and went downstairs the band doing the Jazz evening was excellent and the place was packed giving out great vibes!

We live fairly locally, but this was our first time visiting, as we were never really sure what was inside!! We were pleased to find the good value soft play area, but it was over a 40-minute wait for a baguette and panini (which was just another cold baguette!) in the cafe there. We will definitely be back for soft play and bowling, but won't eat here again.

Lovely meal, but even though only 8 people in restaurant service really slow - had to ask waitress who was chatting at service hatch. Also very cold in restaurant, good but could have been better

Good prices for soft play, but the food and food service in the soft play area is always disappointing. The menu is fairly “samey” with many things sharing the same ingredients, yet there is always so much unavailable when you go to order. Today, no Bacon Cranberry and Brie paninis, no tea spoons at all, only one knife and it was filthy, half the forks filthy, no children’s plastic forks (only plastic knives), and the cheesy chips and beef chilli chips arrived in what can only be described as “ashtray” sized dishes, so very small portions for the money. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed with the food and food service here, so not sure I’d give it any more chances when there are other good options available nearby for soft play.

Might want to fix your heating. Went last night for the comedy night and people were sat shivering with coats and scarves on. Comedy was good, food was just ok and the venue was freeeeeeezing!

went to the comedy club/curry night last Wednesday..curry disappointing..not much chicken to be found in it & aonly 2 choices available..chicken or vegetable.. also it was more rice than curry..As for the comdedians..Appart from the last act who was funny the rest were not ..in fact one act in particular were very crude not what I would call funny and looking around at audience I dnt think they did either..Maybe these acts should be vetted beforehand to make sure their material is appropriate..and of course funny...!

must be honest went there 12 months ago first class not cheapest but was the best , but and a bigbut went this week , first in breakfast very poor full breakfast bacon cold , beans cold sausage warm mushroom cold very poor ,,,, cups of tea on receiving tea was only warm , on this showing very poor .

I've had 2 separate experiences this weekend. Friday with my 4 year old, missed the cut off entry time by 2 mins so wasn't allowed in the softplay. Half the amusements down stairs were broken or not switched on along with the atm and they dont serve food until 5pm on a school holiday!!!😞😞😞

Saturday eve, I went to ocean deck with my husband on a very rare night out and we waited 30 mins plus for table service even tho they offered it, they forgot about us and when I approached them was told the kitchen was closing at 7.30pm because the chef said he had enough. We did get dinner in the end but 4 plain chicken skewers with no side dish for £15 was even more disappointing. Not a great experience all round!!😞😞😞

I will grant you normally I would give this place a 4-5* but after last night a 1*, id say this, the staff in soft play are amazing. But as for bowling, a 34th birthday party for myself. Although “most” of the staff were helpful, the manager and in general were not great. The staff treated us rudely and without any respect, “lying constantly, however it was forced”. We complied to the rules until we were treated awfully and then it became chaotic. We gave them over £300 but we’re stopped from playing our game despite requests and a request for a refund. The whole experience of my birthday was great until this point. Such a shame to give a negative review of the place but without question they deserve it after last night. 1*, and I over state them by 3/4 of a star.

The chef and catering team certainly excelled themselves. I would certainly recommend the Ocean for any event!

We've visited the play area and deck more than once. Restaurant staff very helpful. Soft play area very clean and spacious! Lovely that it has so much for younger siblings also. We loved it that much we visited again, had a issue with the food, however they couldnt do enough, refunded and gave our next entry free and was still asking if we were happy with the outcome or if they could do anything else. 5*****.

This is a brilliant soft play area for kids. Food in snack bar good but not enough staff on. Had to find someone to clean our table then the cleaner became our food server. Other than that we loved it. Would have liked to have tried the other amenities if had more time.

Thank you to the lovely lady behind the refreshments counter in Ocean Play who noticed that I needed to feed my baby before I had a chance to order anything and brought a glass of water for me because it was a hot day and she thought I might need it.

Set up my equipment for a Wedding on 22nd November 2017, and stayed for lunch. Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely time in the soft play area after baby ballet . The people working there were very kind, helpful and friendly . The play area is a lovely, safe and clean place for children to play !

Great venue. My son had a great bowling party, great food afterwards and party bags and balloons as well. Thanks for a great event made my son's day.

Friendly staff. Popped in on the off chance of a game of bowls with our little one. We were playing within 15mins!

Soft play was closed but we will definitely try that out the next time we visit Exmouth.

Went for the Tapas night on Thursday, sadly someone need to organise the staff better as they are a bit all over the place so everything took quite a while. The lighting was so poor at the tables it was difficult to read the menu but the waitress explained they were in the process of upgrading it....

The Tapas itself was not outstanding.

On the good side when we had finished and went downstairs the band doing the Jazz evening was excellent and the place was packed giving out great vibes!

We live fairly locally, but this was our first time visiting, as we were never really sure what was inside!! We were pleased to find the good value soft play area, but it was over a 40-minute wait for a baguette and panini (which was just another cold baguette!) in the cafe there. We will definitely be back for soft play and bowling, but won't eat here again.

Lovely meal, but even though only 8 people in restaurant service really slow - had to ask waitress who was chatting at service hatch. Also very cold in restaurant, good but could have been better

Good prices for soft play, but the food and food service in the soft play area is always disappointing. The menu is fairly “samey” with many things sharing the same ingredients, yet there is always so much unavailable when you go to order. Today, no Bacon Cranberry and Brie paninis, no tea spoons at all, only one knife and it was filthy, half the forks filthy, no children’s plastic forks (only plastic knives), and the cheesy chips and beef chilli chips arrived in what can only be described as “ashtray” sized dishes, so very small portions for the money. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed with the food and food service here, so not sure I’d give it any more chances when there are other good options available nearby for soft play.

Might want to fix your heating. Went last night for the comedy night and people were sat shivering with coats and scarves on. Comedy was good, food was just ok and the venue was freeeeeeezing!

went to the comedy club/curry night last Wednesday..curry disappointing..not much chicken to be found in it & aonly 2 choices available..chicken or vegetable.. also it was more rice than curry..As for the comdedians..Appart from the last act who was funny the rest were not ..in fact one act in particular were very crude not what I would call funny and looking around at audience I dnt think they did either..Maybe these acts should be vetted beforehand to make sure their material is appropriate..and of course funny...!

must be honest went there 12 months ago first class not cheapest but was the best , but and a bigbut went this week , first in breakfast very poor full breakfast bacon cold , beans cold sausage warm mushroom cold very poor ,,,, cups of tea on receiving tea was only warm , on this showing very poor .

I've had 2 separate experiences this weekend. Friday with my 4 year old, missed the cut off entry time by 2 mins so wasn't allowed in the softplay. Half the amusements down stairs were broken or not switched on along with the atm and they dont serve food until 5pm on a school holiday!!!😞😞😞

Saturday eve, I went to ocean deck with my husband on a very rare night out and we waited 30 mins plus for table service even tho they offered it, they forgot about us and when I approached them was told the kitchen was closing at 7.30pm because the chef said he had enough. We did get dinner in the end but 4 plain chicken skewers with no side dish for £15 was even more disappointing. Not a great experience all round!!😞😞😞

I will grant you normally I would give this place a 4-5* but after last night a 1*, id say this, the staff in soft play are amazing. But as for bowling, a 34th birthday party for myself. Although “most” of the staff were helpful, the manager and in general were not great. The staff treated us rudely and without any respect, “lying constantly, however it was forced”. We complied to the rules until we were treated awfully and then it became chaotic. We gave them over £300 but we’re stopped from playing our game despite requests and a request for a refund. The whole experience of my birthday was great until this point. Such a shame to give a negative review of the place but without question they deserve it after last night. 1*, and I over state them by 3/4 of a star.
