Staff where excellent at odeon Manchester and we where meet by friendly greeting and the movie started on time but on the down side as we entered the cinema closely followed by the beast from the east and -2 outside we where disappointed to find out that the cinema did not sell any hot drinks to are disappointment soft and fizzy drinks only. Not everyone drinks cold soft fizzy drinks

Loved the huge auditorium of screen 1, the screen was a great size and the seats were lovely. Very nostalgic feel to it.

Brilliant cinema lovely seats very clean and great staff and great ticket price ! Cinema screen fantastic digital quality image and I live the odeon graphics before the start of the movie !!! 5*

Went to see Star Wars The Last Jedi in 3D with my family, took IMAX glasses by mistake, but the Odeon member of staff just gave us free pairs with a smile. Great experience, thank you, although refreshments were a bit pricey, 2 slushies, large popcorn and a hot dog for £17!!

Very poor customer service I thought when we arrived. There was only one women selling tickets and she did not seem to know what to do, and she did not ask for my Odeon card either. Having said that we were in screen 4, and I thought the whole cinema was beautiful and the theatre had an excellent large screen, and good quality seats .

My experience with Odeon has always been great. I live in Manchester city center and when I heard thet Odeon is moving out of Printworks I was a bit disappointed, and watched 2-3 movies in Vue!! And was very disappointed with their services...I wanted Odeon back in town....and there you were...back to city center!!!

I was so happy that you came back 😜

My Overall experience with ODEON has always been great.

Good cinema, reasonable tickets, normal silly snack prices but warm popcorn was yum. The seats were very comfortable with good leg room. The NCP parking though cost me nearly as much as the cinema.

When we entered Screen 1 on December 26 to watch The Greatest Showman 10.20 am show you could hear the advert sound but no picture for about 8 minutes.

I went out of the auditorium to let the staff know, a few minutes later the picture came on the screen, when the feature finally came on the picture didn't look right after 5 minutes of this, yet again I had to leave the auditorium to bring this to the attention of the uninterested staff, it was rectified a few minutes later

The film was good but we wait and watch ads for about 25 minutes. The film had to start 9:30pm but it’s started 10pm. We know the films always start after 15 min but this time was awful.

User

Love odeon, great northern is a bit hectic And disorganised though. We always tend to buy our tickets before hand for quicker entry but it doesn’t seem to matter here. There’s nowhere to collect them other than box office. So you still need to wait in a lengthy que and miss the start of your film. There cheese for nachos isn’t the same as other odeon either!

User

It hasn't changed one bit from being AMC. The ticket booth always smells like BO (I think it could be from the gym). It's only really a good 2nd best for when Vue isn't showing the film you want to see at the time you want to see it.

User

I'm disappointed that they have got rid of free drinks and popcorn refills. The staff were a bit rude about it.

The movie experience was good, however.

User

I paid for my ticket (very reasonable price) I found a seat with no problems what so ever, I watched my film which was very good (good choice on my part) I don't really understand what some of you ppl want from a cinema experience. .ffs!! Its like some ppl just moan for the sake of it,if you're gonna be a douche & complain about everything just wait for the dvd/blu ray!!! The idiots are well & truly winning! !!!!

User

Yes the same for me as in pitch black!!! trying to find the seats any seat, and when me and my small child had stopped falling over we found a seat, with the use of a phone tourch, only then did we see the reason for the darkness, grubby seats please clean, also no coffee or tea for salesort it out

User

Tickets were a good price and the movie I saw was great how ever the staff were rather rude. I had to use the lift as my little brother is terrified of escalators. I was walking over to the lady to show her my tickets when a woman from behind the counter shouted over rather nasterly ‘You need to show your ticket before you go in’ even though I was clearly walking over to do so. Was just unnecessary.

User

Odeon Manchester poor service , ticket counter had no one dude was playing on his phone while I waited my turn. Upstairs no one was there to check my ticket and someone only asked just after I bought pop corn. Still feels like AMC which was never the best so don’t know if the staff are former AMC because Odeon is normally first class. Some toilets had no toilet rolls , only one soap dispenser and one fully functioning hand dryer. All in all disappointed.

User

I bought my ticket as my film was meant to begin but the theatre was pitch black with no lighting so I couldn’t find my seat without a torch. The screen itself was off, and the film didn’t come on until 35 minutes later, but they still felt the need to play all the ads. They played perfectly of course, the film though? Nope, it was stopping and starting so much I could have probably downloaded a better copy illegally. As I said I got my ticket when this film was meant to start, so if there were malfunctions they would have known, but no one communicated that to me. Instead they wasted an hour of time. At least when I left after watching 25 mins of the film in what felt like 40, I got refunded.

In all my years going here when it was an AMC I was never disappointed, but now it’s on Odeon there were instantly problems
