Wicked, already the 14th longest running show of all time, played its 5000th performance in the West End last night.
For all you Ozians in the North West, don't worry because this most thrillifying of all musicals comes home to the Palace Theatre this Christmas, an engagement that will mark the end of the record-breaking tour.

📚 It's National Book Lovers Day! 📚
If there's one thing we love *almost* as much as going to the theatre, it's reading a good book. But did you know that a number of our shows are based on famous novels and literary characters...

Went to see Miss Saigon on the opening night & the closing night , both performances were incredible, didn’t want each performance to end, always an emotional wreck at the end of the show The cast were amazing, brilliant job by Red Concepcion, Ashley Gilmour & the gorgeous Ryan O’Gorman !!!! Sets were breathtaking would recommend this show to everyone, fabulous !!!

User

Went to see Miss Saigon last night for the second time in three weeks absolutely love it wish I could see it one more time but last day tomorrow all the cast are amazing but Red Conception was in a league of his own as the engineer

User

Went to see Miss Saigon for the second time in the last 3 weeks... An amazing production, cast were fantastic, outstanding emotional performances given by all, this is by far my favourite theatre production. Ashley Gilmour was amazing!! Shame its leaving Manchester.

Only downside is cost of drinks £9 for a glass of wine, that is ridiculous!!

User

Went to see Blood Brothers on Friday night. Brilliant production...everyone put 100% into their performance. They must be exhausted when they go home at night. Lyn Paul...wow...what a voice xx

User

I often take my disabled brother to the theatre. The staff are always at hand to help. Are very friendly and make sure we are ok throughout the visit.

User

Fab Theatre. Not particularly pretty from the outside but a lovely traditional theatre once you get inside. Staff really helpful and polite. Joe Lycett really good. We had a great night.

User

Amazing show blood brothers a personal favourite and to enjoy the show with my daughter was extra special a must see if you have never seen.

Manchester peace ,hope , strength

User

Absolutely brilliant! Saw this about 20 years ago, had Kiki Dee in the lead role in blood brothers. But this performance was on a different scale. Technically much better too. The lighting created exactly the right tone for each scene. Lyn Paul and the entire cast made it really believable. Not one bad performance from any of them. I would highly recommend it, if you can manage to book some seats. But try if you can, you won't regret it.

User

A lovely Theatre with very helpful and friendly staff. Had a meal st the Stage Door before the show, excellent food. Can highly recommend

User

Went to see miss saigon last night fantastic the cast were brilliant they gave it everything left me quite emotional also the sets were great highly recommended

The only minus were the seats so steep and not a lot to hold onto also spoiled the experience no room between seats very poor leg room, very helpful staff.

User

Went to see Blood brothers last night, excellent show & great cast Lynn Paul’s singing was excellent, so emotional. The brothers were great, loved the 7 year old play scenes. A must see show!

User

Great show..watched fastlove a tribute to George Micheal.Drinks from the bar expensive, and plastic glasses just ruin the moment...goodies from the kiosk not much better...bag of jelly babies and wine gums..two packs for £5..

User

The Thom Yorke concert was incredible.however that's were my positive experience ends.the security staff were frankly appalling.my friend and I where threatened with being ejected because we had the nerve to dance at a concert. Needless to say I won't be back.dont put on concerts if your staff can't deal with concert goers.

User

Our kids and us are absolutely gutted that ATG have been very difficult in trying to help with our request. Given we had taken insurance in our tickets for 6 of us and requested a date change 48 hrs priory to our show date they made the whole situation difficult to deal with and basically wanted more and more money from us to change our date of the show. I know it’s not the theatre directly but it’s people selling tickets for one of your events and now at this minute we won’t be attending the show and we are also £227 out of pocket. I don’t think I would be booking an event through that company again and so much for paying insurance and getting absolutely nothing from it!!!!!!
