well its a good beautiful day at the Fishery yet again and the fish are on the move. We have as always had a good stamp of silver fish coming out as well as our carp who are starting to move round more. Both green an golden tench have graced our banks with many more species appearing also.
Wether you're new to fishing or experienced, wether you're young or adult why not come and experience what a pleasant and relaxing day Parkfield fishery can you give you.

Adult (max 2 rods) £7.00
Senior Citizen (65+) £5.00
Adult and child (max 3 rods) £10.00
evening ticket is a set price of £5.00 (after 5:00 pm)
Night fishing (24hrs) can be pre booked for a maximum of four anglers £20.00 per angler. Book via phoning 07714 949 624 or by sending us a message on here
The Fishery is open dawn till dusk and bailiffs are always about to offer help or advice when needed
Can anglers please make themselves aware of our fishery rules before they intend on fishing our lake.
I have found people not following the three rules listed below.
All anglers must have one net per person
A maximum of two rods per person at any time
Once the Fishery has closed at dusk only booked on anglers for night fishing and the two baliffs are permitted to be on the lake,NO SPECTATORS, food delivery's can be picked up from either car park
All our rules are to not only protect the fish but also to ensure every angler that visits us stays safe and has the most enjoyable experience at our lake. Failure to comply with our simple rules will result in you being asked to leave without your day ticket being refunded

All our staff at Parkfield Angling Centre would like to take a minute out of our day to wish an absolute gentleman a very happy birthday. At the young age of eighty two it is a pleasure to see him targeting our fish using his familiar center pin reel and still gracing our bank with his presence.

well its a delight to see so many anglers appearing at Parkfield fishery,regular catches of a wide variety of silvers an smaller species have graced so many anglers and its even nice to see the carp on the move now the weather has perked up. As you can see we have had two little beautiful specimens out in the form of a lovely goldfish (one of many differently marked available to catch) and we knew they were a surprise species to us as well but we can confirm we also have gud...geon in our lake. This one ate a mouthful of maggots and were not bragging but when weighed she put the scales to 3 ounces, bearing in mind last time we checked the record gudgeon weight was at 5 ounces.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SURFACE FISHING
we have discussed this amongst ourselves and have decided to place a ban on all surface fishing until our carp have spawned,we know our lake is a prolific surface fishing venue but its all about looking after our fish and quality of water. We appreciate your patience and co operation
you are only ever allowed to fish one rod on the surface,this is to save rods being pulled in while handling the other rod and more so to save our variety of wildfowl,ducks and birds which is attracted by the lake getting injured or worse
Last but not least we would like to thank Phil Lacey Angling for helping a few anglers while on our lake with not just advice but help with some photos as well as enjoying some fishing himself.

Well we're in March now which means our season of FREE FISHING has ended, firstly I would like to say thank you to all the new, senior and junior anglers that managed to grab themselves a free day's fishing from parkfield fishery.
Over the last couple of months we have seen some special and beautiful specimens getting caught, chub, big perch, carp of all sizes, some lovely bream, roach, crucians just to name a few. Iv seen the greatest sights on our banks from the big smile o...n the kids face as they catch there first silver fish, some of our adult anglers have broken personal bests including Phil Lacey Angling who not just beat his best perch with another one of parkfields big 3lb+ perch but also he bagged a new personal best crucian @1.11lb also its nice to see old friends meeting up for a relaxing catch up next to our seneric lake.

Well with the weekend being nice an plenty of fish coming out our baliff decided to have a go himself. Rods were in for about half eight Monday night by the time the day ticket anglers had packed up, this included the young angler below fishing with his dad shaun, and well done to Ciaran on his first stripey and helping his cousin land an photo his carp caught, the youngster caught a few carp and a nice little perch on his very own setup. I used a boilie approach to tempt any... carp and a night float for the silvers etc altering from worm, pellet and maggots on the hook. The wind got up in the night an catches were few an far between but they were there in the forms of small chub, carp up to 8lb and a few bream. Tuesday daytime was a mixed weather day with overcast skies and occasional sunny spells, the wind was still there, although slow as always at parkfield everyone's always pleased. I walked away after catching chub, hybrids, bream, and the last three casts bagged me three different sized perch (2.4lb biggest) an it was nice to see other anglers on the lake also having mixed bags of silvers
