took my kids for the first time today they loved it, loads of room to run around plenty of room to play in the park, and splash part of it. we didn't get a chance to venture to the sand pit but it looks big enough for loads of kids. we will definitely be going back several times over the summer :D

We have had a lovely time, the park is clean, play area is suitable for all age group, the splash park gives great water experience for the children in the sunny days, there is also a place for children to play with sand,we'll definitely visit again!

There is a coffee van in the park so no need to do the Costa run.....great price.....great menu and helpful staff. They do cappuccinos and lattes and all sorts of hot and cold food.

The perfect free day out and even parking is free on a Sunday. Kids loved it. It's the next best thing to a trip to the seaside. You have water, sand, skate park and a oark will def visit again.

Other Councils can learn how it should be done from this wonderful FREE facility! We live in Felixstowe and always visit when seeing family in Leighton Buzzard. Kids have renamed it the ‘Splash Park’. They it! Thank you. Particularly packed yesterday with the fair too! Just wow . X

User

Loved it!!!! Went today for 1st time with a friend and her little girl.... We all had a great time found a space laid out our camp, bags buggies and all that jazz went to the water.. So many people but all very friendly kids loved it definitely recommend it and definitely be back ASAP

User

Love it! Awesome place and all for free. Brilliant. Only downside was those that let their kids use the facilities without watching them (some were hitting other kids and spitting sausages around the place and those leaving their rubbish instead of using the bins 3 metres from where they were sitting. The places it's self is so good but some parents need to learn some respect and pass this on to their kids.

I was here yesterday with my 4 kids and 2 nieces, aged 3-9.

They all loved it and were entertained all day.

It was busy but didn't feel too crowded as there is so much space to spread out.

There was a queue for the toilets a lot of the time which could be difficult for younger ones but on the whole it wasn't a problem.

User

Great place for children. Lovely big open grass space to sit around it too. It also has a big sandpit just across the park so keeps the children busy for a few hours! Very busy in summer as you can imagine so if you have more than one child, take friends to help!!

User

Fantastic open space with so much to do for the children. The splash zone was amazing. Another bonus was to hear a top class brass band on the bandstand. Great afternoon.

User

Fab day. Nice and clean. Lots to do and very spacious. Toilets have good hand washing and drying facilities. They did close at 5pm though so don't leave it too late ...! Ice cream van and coffee van available all day too. Lovely day out. 20 min walk from train station.

User

Excellent park we've moved from LB and still revisit just because of the park!!

User

Despite other comments I've seen about toilets we went the weekend just gone with a 4 and 5 year old and there are definitely toilets! they're in the block opposite the splash park!! The splash park its self is fantastic really clean and well maintained! We took a picnic and spent the whole day there! Fab free day out as parking fees don't apply on Sundays or bank holidays would definitely recommend!

User

Brilliant place! Really lovely surrounding grass area, picnic tables and toilets. We were a group of new mummies with small babies and took a picnic and it was perfect. Splash park was great fun, very clean but best of all free!!

Awesome facility, very well maintained.

User

A great place to spend a morning/afternoon - giant sand pit, a park with plenty for toddlers up to big kids, a skate park and of course the splash park! Gets so busy in the summer so if you want in get there early. There are toilets in the park too.

User

Omg took my 5 kids to this park today as haven't been there for a while and kids loved it last time but today was horrendous 3 very gobby and rude girls starting on my kids for absolutely no reason and when I told them to leave my kids alone an shut there vile mouths they start giving me an my partner aload of abuse youngest one couldn't of been older than 6 an she had the biggest gob of all someone really needs to do something about them as they are ruining it for everyone else. Not being funny but I'd love to be there when they start on the wrong kid an get a good kick in they sure as hell need it.

User

Great place, loads of space and the splash park itself is nice and clean... only downside to our trip was three traveller kids no older then 10, abusing other children playing nicely and pushing, punching and threatening other kids. When adults got involved and asked them to stop or leave them alone they then started hurling abuse and swearing at the adults. No adult supervision and no respect for anyone else there!! Mocking children infront of their parents when they went to tell them that they had been hurt, shame how a few kids can ruin it for everyone else sharing and playing nicely! Had to leave before They started on my child as I wouldn't of been as calm as the other parents!

Defo needs to have at least one person keeping watch in this venue that have the authority to tell them to get out if they continue!! Such a great place but a few ruin it for all!!!!

User

Thus would be brilliant if it weren't for the traveller children who punch and swear at other children and adults for no reason, barge around with no regard for little ones, and leave litter everywhere.

Considering this has been commented on many times previously, and I have witnessed this firsthand on my two visits to the waterpark, I am surprised that nothing is being done about them. A security/ council/ police presence would probably resolve this issue.
