We have always used cardboard packaging for larger cakes however have used plastic for individual desserts, we are pleased to say we have got rid of the plastic in favour of a much more environmentally friendly option! Whilst it may not look quite as pretty as the old domes it’s much better for our planet and every little bit helps!

We bought some of the nutella-custard filled doughnuts from the market at Spinningfields today, and they were absolutely amazing! The custard filling was out of this world.

The Patisserie Princess had a fabulous selection of deserts, donuts and macaroons today at the makers market! We bought a lovely, beautifully presented selection to take away, the passion fruit macaroons have to be my favourite! Thanks Scarlett! You’re amazing!

Thank you Scarlett for your wonderful macarons - both macaron towers you made for our birthday celebrations (my 50th and Georgia’s 21st) were stunning - see the photo above! The quality of your macarons is fantastic - every bit as good as the famous Parisienne variety, if not better. Your entremets are wonderful too - especially passion and chocolate.
