It has been all go over the Easter Holidays. I have been visiting lots of my cat friends over the past few weeks and continue to visit some for the next couple of weeks too. Once we got into the school holidays a few of my dogs went on their holidays and didn't need walks whilst my regular walkers Bertie and Oreo came to stay with me for their holidays. We also have elderly Jess in who would quite happily spend forever asleep, she loves the idea of walks but the reality is so...mething different! We have had the usual trips to the forest, Hardwick Heath and Nowton Park as well as a couple of trips up to Norfolk. The heat rose which saw our walks adjusted accordingly, the rain this morning was a welcome respite for them. We are now out of the school holidays and returning to the normal routines. Bailey the Cocker has now come in for his holiday. He was a tad excited!

Gosh another month and a bit has flown by. Had a long weekend up North and even with no dogs still manage to coo over all the dogs we saw! On our return we have been busy with boarders again. Kia and Harvey came in for a stay, Kia's reaction to a wet and windy walk was hysterical, she really doesn't do rain! We have had a few new boarders in to, both Labradors, one a Fox Lab who stayed for 11 nights and then a black Lab, Harris. Both absolutely lovebugs who adore cuddles and ...fuss. Our first ever furbaby Toto was back again for more time with her beloved Thomas! We are awaiting the arrival of Izzie and Millie for their next holiday. We have had walks at King's Forest, Bradfield Woods as well as the local parks and recreation areas. During the heavy winds last week we stuck to our local area as up on the local fields there are just a few trees so less likelihood of a flying branch. Though seen limited damage at the various woods I do visit. Dates are rapidly filling up, I have most weeks now between now and October full with boarders, busy busy. However due to a number of very last minute cancellations of boarding I may find myself having to get strict and enforcing the non-refundable deposit policy. Apologies if this does occur but hopefully you will understand. Enjoy the Spring weather with your furry friends!

Alas the cute boarder is a no photos dog.

What a funny few weeks, we have gone from the snow a few weeks ago to these mild temperatures we have had now, The dogs and I have been enjoying the warmer weather now, though surprisingly the little ones who normally sulk in bad weather weren't too fazed by the snow. My guinea pigs who moved in for the cold spell are now enjoying a spell in the outside run! We have had a couple of old friend's return. Both Emma and Toto came back for a short break with us, we have also had a... new friend in, Jess the elderly Lab. I have been back visiting a number of cat friends over the last few weeks, with the usual mixed reactions from them. Hoping this weather stays nice for all the furry's out there!

Remember that even if you go to Hardwick Heath like I did today the car park is gritted so they'll still need a paw clean even if you haven't been on the roads.
