Went in yesterday once at about 3pm then again about 9pm. Great place, good staff and yes great beer. They do now serve tea as my wife enjoyed a pot of tea whilst I enjoyed the beer.

We spent the night here and feel 5 stars are not enough. The staff are fantastic and instantly made us feel like friends. The room was stunning with the best bed I have ever slept in. We have spent our journey home trying to decide how soon we can come back xxx

This is a really good bar for anyone who like me appreciates a nice pint of real ale. There is always an interesting variety and they are kept in really good condition. Recently there have been a number of Lakeland ales on. Also it is a tremendous sun trap in the evening. Great location

Staff are nice, they let dogs in and the beers good. What more could you ask for! 😊

Lovely pub and staff friendly. Accommodation excellent but it’s not a hotel so why charge hotel prices? And not even breakfast!!!! It’s a pub with rooms upstairs so the price should reflect that. It’s beautifully decorated to a high speck and very comfortable. Would still recommend but pricey for what it is.

Had my first visit there last night, very impressed. Great decor, great atmosphere, couldn't fault the beer and had a great selection. Brilliant addition to Churchtown, will certainly return.

I do love this place. Great location- West facing beer garden. Brilliant choice of ale/lager (personal choice!) and wonderful friendly staff. Minor negative is the size of the toilets...suppose you could say at the very least they’re cozy!!
