What a fabulous idea! Cards for Kindness is an initiative which aims to reduce loneliness in our care homes by encouraging members of the community to send a postcard to a local care home. Please see the link below for how you can take part.

Trying to stay sane in a busy world is hard! It’s important that we all practise a little self care to maintain our wellbeing. It’s widely accepted we should be going to the gym and be active to stay physically fit but staying mentally fit is talked about less!
Do you try and look after your well-being? It’s #worldwellbeingweek what tips have you got?
I ensure I have 5 minutes on a Sunday night to set myself 3 goals for the week- might be something as simple as ensuring I’ve... got water at my desk or a promise not to eat chocolate! Or it could be promising to not work beyond 11pm or to ring a friend.
I also use the time to look at how I did with last weeks goals and if I didn’t achieve them then why not and ask myself are they still important and if so it’s another tactic!
I’ve even managed to find a book to record them in! But a phone or notebook works the same 🤗

We often admit people to the hospice to help them with symptoms such as pain or sickness. Once the specialist team have got it under control you can go home!
