Good morning, Children are back to school this week, so what better time to start thinking about your Halloween costume ready for our Halloween spectacular.
Buffet, hot pot, stone the crows performing a very special event, voodoo dancers, karaoke, disco.
... Children’s disco and spooky stories 6-8. Prize for best costume boys and girls. Witch’s trick or treat.
Adults 8-late. Best costume, karaoke Witch’s trick or treat quiz, right answer it’s a treat, wrong answer it’s a trick. Prize for winners.

Lovely to see so many local families today , enjoying a friendly afternoon in their village local. A family run pub for families and not forgetting your fur babies too.
We will have a games chest soon just for these afternoons when the children come to see the witch, a chest full of games and things for little people. Sorry grown ups the witch’s chest is only for our little guests.

Good morning, Unfortunately the harassment continues, Yet another fictitious complaint was made to trading standards that we serve kids alcohol.
Really!!... These people who are causing all this need to get a TV, surely we are not that interesting?.
So what’s next? We have had taxis, takeaways, bogus bookings, attempted cancellation of events. Bogus complaints to brewery, police, council, trading standards. All found nothing illegal or untoward happens in our pub.
If you have a complaint about the pub it is exceedingly easy to contact us. But no one ever does. All complaints put forward to authorities have been found to be malicious, 36 incidents of harassment from phone calls to the most recent complaints involving authorities, (have all been proved to be unfounded).
Albeit one maybe of an exceptionally hot Friday and Saturday night when live music was on and all the doors and windows were open, we accept noise of music may have travelled. But everything else is part of an exceedingly terrible act of victimisation.
The police are now involved in this obvious campaign to ruin the pub. The complaint has been logged with our own local police and Lancashire police. The complaint has been escalated from harassment to a hate campaign .
