Well I don’t know about you but this weekend’s sunshine at Aintree got us all excited for Ladies Day at Chester Races.
There are limited tickets remaining - £125 including breakfast with fizz, return coach, County Concourse ticket and a three course dinner back at Piccolino.

There was a small party of 8 of us tried here for my sisters birthday and it was perfect, from the cocktails, starters, main course and desserts, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, fab fab�

Returned once again for our anniversary, but this time arranged a proposal!! � The restaurant were so good helping me organise it, all the staff were as excited as I was, making our night special and certainly one to remember. Thank you to all the staff working tonight 19/03/18 - Class�

Lunch visit on a Tuesday. Really enjoyed the steak on the lunch menu with mushroom sauce. Very tender meat.

We also had the Quattro pizza which was also delicious partly because of the real Italian style pizza base. Would imagine other alternatives would be a hit also for the same reason.

Great job Piccolino having recently visited Rome and a few weeks ago Venice, you really impressed us

First time eating at Piccolino’s for lunch, great oysters to start with, delicious crab tortellini for main, and chocolate torte for desert. The star of the lunch though was the front of house, it absolutely matched the quality of the great food we had. Our waiter was fantastic and really made the afternoon fab. Great place highly recommended.

Fantastic dinner at Piccolino last night for a birthday - the food and service were fantastic and the people watching was amazing with wall to wall Range Rovers and modelsque clientele. We can’t wait to come back. Plus great booth style comfy seating and forgot to mention the amazing cocktails, I would recommend the “Long Lost Lover”

Can’t go wrong with Piccolino AE, there’s a great atmosphere and buzz about the place. The food and service is always of a high standard too. Always book to avoid disappointment.

We came for a meal on Saturday and it was lovely as usual but I do have a bit of feedback that maybe you could work On, we ordered the chocolate pudding and salted caramel ice cream dessert but before it got to the table the ice cream was half melted it had clearly been put onto a hot plate and as it was on a plate and not a bowl trying to chase the ice cream round the plate was very tedious! Maybe next time we come you may have taken note. Thanks

We have been coming to Piccolinos for years, usually the one in Didsbury but also Alderley Edge a few times, now normally we can’t fault it but we came to Alderley Edge last night and it was very below the normal standard, our starter arrived within seconds which rings bells about freshness, mains came very quickly afterwards, then waited a while for desert which are usually amazing but my husbands salted caramel ice cream had basically melted all over the plate and my lemon meringue tart arrived just plonked on a plate with no cream, ice cream or decoration, admittedly you were pretty busy but it’s put me off coming back now

Birthday meal for Mum.... what a disappointment. Slow service (even though not that busy) asked for a drink they didn’t stock to be offered zero alternative or recommendation.

Husband ordered starter to be told they didn’t have it in stock, surely what dishes are unavailable should be disclosed upon handing out menus.

My main meal was served cold and considering Mum ordered the same there was no consistency in presentation. My meal was taken away with no apology or explanation to be told “it will be with you in 5 mins” � baffling seeing as it took over 30mins to come out In the first place.

The staff were rude and unhelpful, they certainly need more training in customer service & especially on offering menu advice! They should advise that sides needed to be ordered with some dishes - not wait until the dishes are served!

Unfortunately what should have been a special occasion was tarnished by poor service and appalling food. I shall not be returning any time soon nor recommending!
