The welcoming atmosphere my kids and I and my friends get when we come here feels like being home in Italy.

The food is always top and the service....well this place is an example of how a manager(Valeria) can transmit her passion for her job to her staff!

Staff genuinely look after you and have the knowledge of what it's served in this restaurant... they know how to treat clients and make them feel relaxed and looked after!

Mooching away from a stuffed motorway whilst heading for the airport we happened upon this neat hideaway. It was humid so we chose to eat outside. The place was clean and fresh. I used the rest rooms, they were clean and fresh no stale Odors or smells of cleaning agents. Everybody was friendly. We were acknowledged by all the staff with a smile and it was very welcoming. It was quiet and our table was two from the end. Drinks were ordered and delivered swiftly. A biting pint of magners over ice later I ordered the calamari. Caprese salad, and the risotto funghi.

Fabulous food and hospitality . great atmosphere

Dinned here last night with a group of girl friends for a special birthday celebration. As a kind gesture the chap on the desk went the extra mile to provide complimentary prosseco for us. The service whilst dining was attentive but not over the top, food was good as expected, staff looked smart and were very switched on to doing a good job! Piccolino is a chain so there should be much of a muchness however. The Hale team have really set this place apart. Wonderful evening. Thank you

Fabulous Christmas lunch for the Busy Bees networking group yesterday. We were so well looked after, Valeria is excellent and the staff very efficient. Sea bass was superb and the Tiramisu to die for. Thank you.

The staff are lovely and friendly the food just OK and far to over priced!

I was invited for lunch with my friend on Thursday this week. We waited at least 5 minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant at around 1.30pm. We finally got seated outside in the sun and it was lovely. We ordered drinks, then another member of staff came to ask us again for drinks, so we then ordered our food with the same member of staff. The food came before the drinks, then we finally had the drinks delivered. I find it very hard to understand that we should have waited for 25 minuets when it was very quiet. I would hate to think how long we would wait on a busy day/evening. The food was very nice and the staff were very nice, just very slow and not very attentive what so ever.

Came in for a family birthday meal very disappointed food was awful. Mixed seafood platter to share &20.00 just fried batter it was disgusting. Pizza garlic bread ok. Sea bass swimming in oil and tasteless but extremely salty. Rocket salad swimming in oil and large lumps of salt. Staff friendly but won't be returning. Very overpriced for the quality of food we were served

Went 3 weeks ago and we were absolutely delighted, went yesterday and it was diabolically horrible with poor service accompanied by equally poor food. We will definitely try it again on the back of the first visit but Piccolino Hale get your act together!!!

SHOCKINGLY BAD!!!!! Had the overpriced garlic bread & cheese and some olives to start....ok...Wife’s main was a chicken/pasta dish...ok but sickly... my main gnocchi in a bolognese sauce, thinking I was in a “top Italian” I asked for “heavy on the bolognese sauce”...mistake!!! The gnocchi was just a chewy ball of pepper and the sauce was without doubt the poorest bolognese sauce I have ever tasted!!!!!! Left 90% of it..waiter did apologise and said he would remove it from the bill....didn’t!!!! One dessert ordered Panna Cotta tasted a bit off more like a bad cheesecake!! In an attempt to rescue this disaster I had the really expensive Irish Coffee but the coffee was so bitter that was unpleasant too!!!!! Bright, noisy and then the DJ kicked in...were we in a nightclub that sells bad food or the other way round!! Wasn’t sure really!!! All in all bloody awful experience!!! Only gave it One Star because there isn’t an option for “None”!!!! Apparently there’s 50% off at the moment..not that we were offered it...there needs to be!!!!

I asked for ice and lemon with my water and didn’t get it until half way through my meal after asking for it at least 4 times

We couldn’t eat our crab starter because there were bits of shell in it

We waited over half an hour for our main course

Overall it wasn’t a very nice experience for us

Food was awful.. not my fave restaurant in Hale, but I thought would be a good choice for my husbands birthday and our anniversary!

I called to book And asked if I could just have a grilled chicken salad due to dietary requirements they said no problem!

My husband ordered a glass of fizz I was on water I'd already drank a glass before the lemon and ice was brought after me requesting it with the order...

starters came they were good!

My husband steak came (for which he didn't give him a choice but did say it comes with house fries)

With no fries when we asked he said you didn't order them I said no you said they came with it!!! Half eaten steak and they brought the fries!!!

My chicken salad was .... crap... a chicken breast very pale not grilled as requested (more of what would of be used in a Sunday lunch üò©) a very poor house salad!!! I know it's a plain chicken salad but I expected it be a bit better than it was.. it was left along with the fries!!!

We asked for the bill paid and left! Safe to say I won't be returning!!

Definitely overpriced for what you get!

I was charged for a chicken dish (he chose off the menu) and extra for the salad think about £24 for a £3.50 meal 😂🙈
