We went to Pipers Height for the first time last weekend and it was fantastic. We have 2 children (5 & 12) and the play area for them was one of the best we’ve found. Really well kept, open so you can see them from your van, but fully fenced so safe. The park itself was lovely and clean, very spacious and had a welcoming homely feel. The amenity block was modern and spotless. The pitches were unbelievably large! We didn’t have our awning up but even if we had there would still have been ample room to sit out etc. They’re also fully serviced which is a bonus! The club house was quiet as it was the first night open for the season but seemed a great place for a bite to eat & entertainment when available. The staff were really attentive & friendly and there are board games for the children I honestly couldn’t recommend this site enough - we booked for Easter on the way out & it won’t be the last time either the fact it’s just off the motorway and 50 minutes from home is just the icing on the cake well done Pipers Height and thank you, see you soon

We have been to this site a number of times over the past couple of years. We have watched it grow in to a beautifull place. Lots of large pitches to choose from. Many fully serviced. Immaculate wash rooms with all a touring van could need. The staff are amazing, lovely friendly people who cant do enough for you. There is a good excersise, dog walking (only 2 dogs per family). Only 5 minutes drive from Lytham and Blackpool. Also lots of static vans on site plus a busy bar bistro pub though no dogs allowed inside, there is outside seating . Love this place xx Kevin Shaw.

This is a great location. The pitches are an excellent size for caravan car and awning. Pay in advance and just drive up to the barrier and your off to find your pitch. No delays queuing at reception. Toilets and showers are perfect. Children’s park well equipped and maintained. Good entertainment in the Pied Piper.

User

The park was clean and well look after mix and quite

And the pitch was worth every penny

User

The difference in having entertainment for the children over Easter has been amazing we have really enjoyed it and must say all the staff at the club are wonderful xx

User

So, we are no longer caravan virgins . Picked up our first caravan a week ago and this was our first little holiday . We found it to be clean and friendly it had a fab dog walk for our pooches. The shower/ toiletes are spotless and water nice and warm x deffinately recomend to friends .

User

User

Great caravan site came in our touring caravan and now just got a static van on site. Lovely people staff are very friendly

User

Fabulous site. Highly recommend. We have just spent 28 nights at the site. Showers and facilities excellent. Super play area for children. Nicely positioned for Lytham, St Annes and Blackpool. Can’t speak highly enough of this site. We will be returning.

User

Fab site, very clean and well laid out. Peaceful location and the staff in the club house were very friendly and food was excellent. Will defiantly be back.

User

Excellent large fully serviced pitches, bar has happy hour with very friendly staff. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. 5 star.

User

By far one of the best sites we've stayed on. We had a pitch right next to the playpark so our son played out on his own for hours with the other kids on the park while we were able to watch him from our motorhome. Amenities were very clean, and the park was safe and secure.

User

1st visit here

Love it

Clean friendly helpful

Booked for Easter next year

We will be back for a good few weekends before then

User

This site is obviously new. Pitches are large most have all services. All are hard standing and well maintained and all hedged off. Toilet block very clean. Good dog walking. Large children's play area.

Only disappointing factor which stops me giving it 5 is having a motorhome the site security closes at 10 pm. I would have thought that most people who come to Blackpool come to see the lights. It took us 1hour 25 mins to do the mile last night. Then we had to cut short our visit to Blackpool centre to get back here before being locked out. Cars are OK but there is a height barrier on the entrance.

User

Just arrived back from this site i was a really nice place to stay even though we only had 1 night there, large pitches with plenty of space, great kids park and friend helpful staff, nice and clean and tidy, on our day of departure we asked if we could have a later depart to save rushing off this was was no problem at all we were told stay until your ready to leave at no extra cost which was a nice touch.we will definitely return to pipers heights thankyou

User

Excellent holiday park: friendly staff, well kept pitches, great happy hour at the on-site pub and shower/toilet facilities were immaculate at all times. Would definitely recommend.

User

Second visit to this site, pitches are great, plenty of room for the caravan, awning & car to fit on, toilet block was a bit of good & bad, gents we’re fine, ladies, so my wife says, we’re disappointing, several times no toilet paper in up to 3 toilets, showers, 1 wouldn’t lock, 1 wouldn’t stay locked.

Dog walking area is fine when dry but part of it becomes a quagmire when it rains.

My biggest complaint is barking dogs, mainly 2, we were on pitch 27, unfortunately this was opposite who I can only describe as the site caretaker, he had 2 dogs which constantly barked, they were kept on long ropes & able to get outside his awning, they barked at anyone & anything that walked by, being next to the toilet block & the route to the dog walking area this meant they were at it morning, noon & night, with the caretaker & his wife out of their caravan most of the time the dogs had no one to get them to stop barking, at the end of our week stay we were glad to be going home to get away from those barking dogs of his, not a site we’ll use again.

To anyone thinking of booking here, look at the site map & avoid choosing a pitch to the right of the toilet block, unless of course you like the sound of constantly barking dogs.

Well after a dreadful start to our holiday at another site we phoned piper heights to check availability to move to there. We had visited them before in 2016. We were told yeah that's fine and did I want to pay just now over the phone or on arrival..on arrival as I was waiting on refund from other park that was literally touring pitches in swamp land. So after driving there caravan in tow....we were turned away for having a European Burstner caravan. According to them it's fire regulations for their pitches and no way could they give us a pitch........even thought we had stayed there 3 nights before in 2016....with same caravan. I said is it to do with travellers having German vans?.....Oh no fire regulations. .. as our door is on the opposite side.....apart from that why do they not ask your van make on the phone before telling you they couldn't give you a pitch and cost you diesel to get there!!! Very dissapointed, we had sent many people to go there. Also after much hassle we got a booking at windy harbour. Well the best was saved to last. No van discrimination there. So I feel this is a lot of rubbish after being taken in by this excuse from piper heights.
