Due to unforeseen circumstances our round robin fixtures at Monmouth tomorrow have been cancelled. We now have a pre season run out next Tuesday Aug 14th at home to Treorchy. Kick off 7.00pm

What a great honour for the club and the player. Had the news today that Pontypool United Junior and Youth product Rob Brookson has been chosen to Captain Wales under18's on their upcoming tour to South Africa. Congratulations Rob, really proud moment.

We first had the good fortune to meet Brian and Lansdowne RFC back in 2004. We have had many a good trip to New York since, and the hospitality shown by players ,wives and girlfriends and rugby club personnel has never ceased to amaze. The funeral of Mrs Jill Tibbs (Mother of Jon Tibbs) takes place on Tuesday 17th July at 2.30pm at the Gwent Crematorium Croesyceiliog. Refreshments will then be served at Pontypool United RFC.
