What a lovely little place just off Market Street in Ulverston. Enjoyed possibly the best full english breakfast ever...we were gutted when we went back on Sunday morning and it was closed!!

What a fab place we came across this after visiting the laurel and hardy museum. Lovely friendly staff and fab food and drink and well priced. If we ever go back to Ulverston we will definitely be going here again for the great food

We've travelled up from Wiltshire - well what can we say it was wonderful! Excellent food with amazing quality and the taste....awesome - happy customers!

We had the afternoon cheese today and it was really good. 6 varieties of cheese, a pork pie and sausage roll each, onion relish and various crackers. All washed down with a glass of wine.

This is something new and I think it will be very popular.

We had the Afternoon Cheese and it was brilliant! It was really easy to book through Facebook and we were made to feel very welcome. I'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

We came for afternoon cheese and tea, it was lovely! Great selection and very well presented,will definitely be returning

Treated ourselves to an Afternoon Cheese Box and it was absolutely delicious. Home made pork pie, sausage rolls, bread, crackers, onion marmalade, grapes, celery, butter and lots and lots of delicious cheese. Highly recommended, we will be back for more.

Thank you so much for filling our basket with such a wonderful picnic for my birthday. The cheese box I got last week was fabulous but this was just something else. Sipping the Prosecco by the lake as we tucked into the sandwiches, cheeses, quiche, pork pie, cakes etc was simply perfect. �

Really enjoyed our first visit here yesterday,my friend and I had a voucher to use so we decided to go and have the breakfast which was So tasty all the items were of really good quality and delicious, also the hot drinks we had were lovely everything is So well presented and the staff are very welcoming, definitely be back again and again!����.

Realised I've never left a review here before, I love this place they have an excellent choice of food which is delicious, my two boys love the milkshakes :). Cannot recommend this place enough! :)

Ordered an afternoon cheese box at the weekend to take as a picnic to Beamish, it was absolutely lovely, great selection of cheeses, tasty sausage rolls & pie and crisp crackers. We loved it.

I popped in the other week with my almost one year old and vegetarian brother and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful, they even brought my son a toy for when he'd finished his food so that I could finish mine too. The food was amazing, I ordered a panini and it was huge! There were also plenty of vegetarian meals to choose from. Overall really impressed!

I ordered a cheese box for collection on Saturday. It came perfectly packaged and oh my what a treat! The selection of cheeses were delicious as were the pies and sausage rolls. There was everything you could need in this one box, I would definitely recommend these boxes for a lovely picnic treat �

Had afternoon tea at poppies and it was amazing. Beautiful sandwiches and a fantastic amount of cakes. The staff were really friendly and the service was faultless. It's definitely worth a visit.

First visit to this lovely little cafe from a recommendation by someone . The food was beautiful and well presented , with very friendly staff . Can’t wait to return to try the afternoon tea and afternoon cheese .

First time eating here after seeing the Eaton Mess and having to try it. Walked in with my two year old to be offered toys for him to play with which was lovely and he was given a drink with a lid and straw very child friendly and lovely food. Hard when you have young children as they aren't always the quietest but we were made very welcome along with our friends will be back again Eaton Mess and The Rocky Road where as tasty as they looked xx

Fantastic place whether you want a coffee, a smoothie or a full meal. Food is all freshly made and the staff are welcoming and friendly and if you have children there’s a box of toys.

Very popular with the locals which is always a good sign.
