We moved here at the last minute after our previous hotel was unclean. The room was clean and spacious. The air con wasn't working and we came back from the Theatre and staff dealt with it within minutes. Amy fixed it for us and we were given breakfast for our troubles which to be honest were minimal but it was lovely to be offered it. Amy was friendly and welcoming as were all the staff at breakfast. The breakfast was well stocked and had a wide variety available. Couldn't fault them. Great service for the price.
Was a lovely hotel very convenient and close to everything you need. One of my son's is on dialysis and there was plenty of room to set his machine up and the layout was great one of the bigger family rooms we've stayed in. Reception staff were excellent and nothing was too ough trouble. Had a small breakfast as I wasn't hungry but great choices as always. Would stay again
Thank you so much for looking after our kids when they arrived back at the hotel devastated after being at the Ariana Grande concert last night and also the lovely young lady who made us coffee after we drove down from Scotland to pick the girls up. It kept us going till we drove home again. Xxx
I’d like to say my stay was memorable but I was extremely drunk so don’t remember much 🙊 However, the room was very lovely. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Perfect location. Short walk to the car park, literally less than 10 minutes. Really cheap room for a Friday too! Would definitely recommend. Will most likely stay again on my next visit.
Great welcome at reception got checked in early which was a bonus free for the day to shop / sight see.
Cant fault the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and bathroom. I was on the 11th floor which was really quiet. Had breakfast which was reasonble although some items wasn't available. Overall a great experience friendly staff and a short walk into town. Will certainly visit this premier inn again.
Great location within a few minutes from Piccadilly train station in Manchester. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast prior to spending all day walking and sightseeing. Our room was very comfortable and had a view.
. . Niall is your star !! . .lovely welcoming reception and customer service at its best . .rooms were lovely . .spotlessly clean . .bed was to die for . .all in all fab . .the only thing to lose a point for is the tiny tv . .otherwise fab . .will definitely be returning.
We had an enjoyable stay, good location really friendly staff, I would stay again. The only thing is not enough milk in the rooms, you need 2 to put in milk or coffee. There was a plug near the bed that something had broken off in it.
Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Good views if you are high up (we were on floor 9 of 11) Only thing that let it down was the breakfast. Ideally situated for Piccadilly station / tram and city centre.
Unfortunately there was a problem in the kitchen after my son and I ordered a meal for his birthday.
After 55 mins waiting for our starter I complained. The resteraunt manager was fantastic and dealt with the problem by immediately giving me a refund. I was told the reason for the wait was that they had run out of chicken wings and had not told waiting staff.
We then had to wait a further 45 mins for our steaks because I asked for mine well done ????.
The staff on both reception and in resteraunt are amazing in this hotel, but kitchen let's them down.
The hotel was lovely and very clean. I would recommend dont use the taxi company the hotel use. We were over priced by £10 twice by this company and when we complained at the reception they didnt want to know. It is a lot cheaper to just walk outside and get a cab on the street.
Staff were friendly enough, room was very comfortable and clean, lucky enough for Lenny Henry I did get a good nights sleep or I wouid have been demanding a refund 😂😂. Dinner and breakfast was good if not a tad expensive. Would use again.
Excellent location for Manchester Piccadilly. We initially had a problem with our room (it smelt like drains) but we were moved straight away into another room by the lovely Niall on reception. My kids always love the breakfast. My only 'complaint' is that we had to order fried eggs. Every other Premier Inn I've stayed in they have been as standard on the buffet. I'd definitely stay here again.
As people say it's a Premier Inn don't expect posh ott. Room was clean but smelt a bit and TV spasmodic. Told reception who were very nice and said we could have moved if we wanted but didn't and they fixed TV. Breakfast good as usual but the bread/bun baskets empty and only topped up bread. Parking was good was cheaper than train. All in all as expected
The hotel was clean and tidy with friendlyand welcomin reception staff.
My room was as I expected usual Premier Inn standard.
The tv was a little tempremental - reported to reception and as I settled down for the night I was disturbed by the noisy aircon. Switched it off to get some quiet but then felt too cold - not a good nights sleep at all. Told reception in the morning.
Room didn't have tea bags and floor in bathroom coming up. Binmen woke us at omg o clock then noisy guests and to top it off complained as cross contamination of food then went and complained and staff didn't see the problem and complained about me complaining. Would they be saying that to a Health inspector who saw that. I've worked in the food Industry so I know what I'm talking about. Didn't even wait until I left and made it blantantly obvious they were talking about me very rude
Never had a problem previously but this time was bad, they got my food order wrong (pizza) and when they changed it, the new meal was terrible. I am in Manchester often but have already booked a different premier inn for my next visits. Adios dale street premier.
When i was there last weekend tea coffee in rooms were reduced to two and that was for two of us . Dinner was very poor oily escalope chicken two celery strips with my crispy chicken bland in taste. The staff were fantastic i guess its not their fault about the quality and scrimping of products . Breakfast is what i always look forward to great spread.
Sadly my stay 01/06-03/06 wasn't great 1st room (701) was given the air con didn't work and on a hot day wasn't a great start so got moved to another room (1117) which was ok bit smelly but still so warm so got air con on wasn't the best and half way theu the night it turned off so woke up boiling. When I told the receptionist upon check out nor only didn't offer my the good night guarantee she really didn't care. Customer service wasn't great and rooms were all just too warm
