Thank you to Leigh from PMVS this evening for rescuing me after experiencing a tyre blow out on the back road between Sawtry and Woodwalton. Leigh was on site within 15 minutes of a desperate phone call to help change the tyre for the spare and get me on my way home out of a precarious situation stranded on the side of a busy road in the dark. Excellent response time and service!

Can’t help but think that this was always going to happen now that large vans and trailers are not allowed to use house hold tips without prior permission, not that tradesmen are allowed use house hold tips as we have to pay to use private waste disposal trade tips or skips to dispose of trade waste. Also might make people stop to think that when they employ cheap “tradesmen” exactly where their construction waste products end up as cheap often means the contractor hasn’t allowed to dispose of his/their construction waste in the correct manner!

Oh deer we seem to have a leak

After converting to a sealed system a suspected underfloor leak successfully traced and repaired with a minimal amount of disruption. Photos show that the culprit fitting had never been soldered correctly over 48 years previously.

Supplied and installed a refreshing update of a kitchen sink and tap

Another life threatening immediately dangerous situation averted. A gas safety inspection was carried out due to a house sale, evidence would suggest that the flue had never been installed allowing fumes from the fire to fill the roof space and potentially enter the bedroom and living spaces below. We are shocked this hasn’t been previously picked up on as the property has changed ownership several times in the last 30 years!! The appliance was made safe whilst the flue was installed correctly and tested to ensure it could be used safely

A back boiler service before and after, a dangerous life threatening situation averted due to a partially blocked heat exchanger, now in a safe good working condition.
