The children may have gone back to school, but Queen's Drive Space Exmouth seafront will remain open until the end of the month. It's still great weather to come down to the beach and enjoy a bit of dinosaur play park action, not to mention some gorgeous food and drink available at the weekend from our Taste of the West friends.

Laurie Ward is Singer/Songwriter based in Devon. Laurie plays 100 plus local/national shows each year both solo and with his band, The Barefoot Bandit. His solo work has been featured on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw and he has enjoyed great success with the band from headlining small stages at Glastonbury Festival to being featured on David Rodigan's BBC Radio 1 Extra show.
Queen's Drive is the perfect venue for an early evening drink and a bite to eat with The Oddfellows Event Bar and Taste Of The West Food Village offering fantastic food and drink.

Born and raised in Devon singer/songwriter and adventurer Lucy Green has travelled far and wide absorbing musical influences from the likes of The Dixie Chicks, Michael Jackson, Wallis Bird and Leadbelly.
Since studying music in London, Lucy has been performing acoustic rock and pop tunes and her own songs to audiences as far off as Paris and Berlin. In the last year Lucy's musical adventures have taken her to perform at festivals in Belgium (la Tuite) and Hungary (Sziget) ...as well as Glastonbury, singing with Sam Green and the Midnight Heist. Most recently Lucy has spent the winter in the French Alps enjoying the snow and singing and playing her guitar.

Whilst hopeful in its conclusion, we tried to express something of the darkness in living with past mistakes, reconciling oneself with change and the breakdown of once vital relationships. Recorded live and acoustic over three days, without effects or affectation, we wanted Gallows to capture the immediacy of making music with people you love. Musical complexity was never within our reach; all we've ever aimed for is honesty in our stories and songs.

The brilliant (and slightly bonkers!) Ben Cornish is coming along this afternoon at 2pm to teach us all some brilliant circus skills. No need to book, just turn up! And treat yourselves to some very tasty treats at our food village, filled to the brim with Taste of the West members, selling their beautiful produce, ranging from fish and chips, vegan wraps, filled dumplings, ice cream galore and lots more, not to mention our beach bar provided by the wonderful The Oddfellows - Event Bars.

This amazing duo comprising of charismatic vocalist Livvy Hylton-Smith and multi-instrumentalist John Mcloughlin play Queen's Drive Space after an impressive set last Sunday. Expect beautiful harmonies, soulful versions of classic songs and a touch of their original material.
